female coffee drinkers, say you drank coffee for a while with no real jitters, then you stated getting light headed, and nauses, like you had to throw up. did you soon discover that you were pregnant.
I drink like a cup six days per week, I don't think I drink too much coffee, so why do I feel like this. this mornong I had a cup and I coul not finish it, and the smell made it even worse. but I am on my last day of a really light period with a 20 day cycle. what do you think?

My daughter is 5, and just started Kindergarten, but I am not positive if this is what is causing her crying. Last night she started bawling because she couldnt put one of her toys away like she wanted to. Then when it was time for bed she threw a tantrum over brushing her teeth. This morning, she fought with her dad over a jacket and threw a tantrum going into school making her late. However, she has been fighting with him every morning since she started school. She was in preschool for two years and I took her almost everyday but never had a problem with him taking her. She also says the boys want to play with her but they are yucky and only wants to play with girls. This is so strange because she has always loved everyone and been really easy to handle with change, even looking forward to change most of the time... any suggestions?!! I need help...I feel really horrible for her right now and don't know how to help.

I am 5 months pregnant and my Mom lives 7 hours away. She wants to throw me a baby shower, but can't do it until I'm 8 months pregnant. I'm having a sheduled c-section so I'll probably have the baby around 38 weeks and don't want to push it so close. I'll need time to find out and get the things I'll still be needing, right? Plus alot of the furniture for the baby is coming from family members so I'll be setting up the nursery with a big huge belly and MAYBE 2 weeks to spare. So I'm thinking about letting my friend throw me one sooner-around 30 weeks. I've explained all my reasons for doing it sooner to her, but she just says it'll be okay.How can I do this without hurting her feelings?

She's not a close friend but her daughter is nearly part of our family. She's hung out with my kids since she was about 8, and she is now 15. Her mother is drunk every day on vodka. She is a single mother and gets state aid, but uses the money for alcohol and drugs. Her daughter knows this but I try to keep things positive. I have hired her to study with my son so she has responsibilities and can earn money. This also keeps both their grades up. I also have her babysit some. This way I can tell her if she hangs out with druggies (there is a meth house 2 doors away from hers), then she can't babysit, and she loves my kids so this works so far. Her mom ignores her, usually doesn't care where she's at or who she's with. I'm always the one checking up on her, giving her money for school functions, paying for her school physical, pool pass, activity pass, and today her school pictures. Her mom has escaped the system many times from child abuse to drugs so that's not the answer. But what is?

about 6 months ago my mom found a preg. test when she went snooping through my room! ever since shes just assumed that im sleeping with every guy that i either date or am friends with! i know that because of what she found its hard to trust me but there is a point where u go to far! in the past week ive had 1 shower where she didnt come in the bathroom and stay in there most of the time! yesturday she actually looked in the shower then she had to come in the bathroom to tell me she was leaving after i got out why couldnt she just tell me through the door! shes got to where she has to know every step i take everytime i leave the house its where r u goin and then 20 min after i leave what r u doin! the first time my bf came to the house the power was out so we went out and sat on the front porch she opened the windows! 5 min later she was out there! its gotten to the point i dont want to be at home anymore im 18 but i cant move out due to finacial problems so how do i deal with it

After loosing your mucus plug and being dialated 2-3 cm. How long does it usually take for labor to actually begin?? I know it varies,but how long does it USUALLY take?? And also is 37 weeks far enough along to deliver?

I'm 22 years old. My husband and I have only been trying for 3 months to conceive. However, I'm concerned about the fact that I'm overweight and have hypothyroidism. I have consulted doctors about whether to wait or starting trying. They have said that I can try just that I would have to actually lose weight during the pregnancy instead of gain. I'm wanting to hear from other overweight women that have successfully been pregnant. I know I'm not supposed to be stressing at this time but it's difficult. Any shared stories would be greatly appreciated!

my son turned 1 just over a week ago,and just started walking a few days ago..he did it really well with lots of confidence and was pleased with himself,and we gave him loads of praise.. however the next day he didnt want to know,and seems scared to walk alone..i have tried encouraging him more and have tried backing off to do it in his own time,but no luck..
any ideas how i can give him his confidence back?or where i went wrong?

I bought Hayln some shea butter huggies wipes. And all the sudden her butt started turning red. I didnt think to much about it and took her over her grandmas with the wipes and left her for a couple hours when i came back her but was welped up and she had a rash on her face(I wiped her face off with one earlier) So shes like severly allergic to the wipes. Now the problem is ive been fighting it for days and ive tried desitin ive tried balmex and it wont go away. Her butt is so red that she screams to have it touched like severly screams and its welped up off of her skin. I tried to get her a doctors appointment today but there booked till tomorrow. Any ideas to help? I feel so bad for her. as an added note shes 6 weeks old if that changes anything

I dont have any children of my own but my boyfriend has a 10 year old boy who is an angel when he is with us but as soon as he goes back to his mother or in school he mis behaves alot. we tryed everything, we took away everything that he likes to do, all his toys, and my boyfried even spanked him and still nothing seems to be working. We dont knoiw what else to do because it doesnt seems to hurt him that fact that he cannot do anything fun when he is punished. My boyfried is a really good dad to him, he spends a lot of time with him. Please help

what could this be besides being pregnant?

the symptoms that are possibly imagined:
1. bigger appetite
2. more fatigued than usual
3. moody

the symptoms that are unmistakably factual:
1. 16 day late cycle (should've started 09-04)
2. spotting after orgasm for 30-60 mins, now not even spotting after that
3. cramping in lower abdomen (sometimes very painful)
4. dull lower back pain
5. tender, swollen breasts

i've had 2 miscarriages. once when i was a teenager (17) again when i was 25. i've had no live births. my cycle has always come like clockwork. i know stress can change that, making it absent or more heavy. my breasts have been swollen and tender to the touch since the end of august though. i have a heavier appetite but that happens sometimes before my cycle begins. yes, i could go get a pregnancy test, i thought i could maybe get feedback from some of you. i dont have a doctor so going to one would entail me going to the ER, which i dont want to do just yet

i went into preterm labor at 25wks they stopped it give me steriod shots 4 her lungs i have 2 other children but i got put in with both so ive never went into labor on my on my labor with both only lastd 2 hrs. i have a weird feelin i was havin contractions yesterday every 2min but they was quick but that lasted 4 a hour. today my back hurts my lips&face is swelled my stomach feels like its in knots & i dont kw how to tell if my water is leakin?! i just have a feelin thats not good!! help please!!

Last night I lost my mucus plug and was sent to the er. They put me on the monitor and the babys heart beat kept going all the way to almost 180 and then back to where its suppost to be.. They sent sent me home because I was not having enough contractions...What causes the babys heart rate to go so high.. Does it have anything to do with labor?
