I'm 22 years old. My husband and I have only been trying for 3 months to conceive. However, I'm concerned about the fact that I'm overweight and have hypothyroidism. I have consulted doctors about whether to wait or starting trying. They have said that I can try just that I would have to actually lose weight during the pregnancy instead of gain. I'm wanting to hear from other overweight women that have successfully been pregnant. I know I'm not supposed to be stressing at this time but it's difficult. Any shared stories would be greatly appreciated!

i was overweight when i got pregnant with my daughter...I dont have hypothyroidism...i had a successfull pregnancy and the only reason that I lost weight(23 lbs during)was because i suffered from Hyperemisis Gravidarum...my daughter was also born at 35 weeks...I know how it is right now being stressed trying to concieve..it only took 4 months to concieve our daughter but now its been 17 months and still nothing..If you need to talk you can always message me

I was 310 when I conceived...I am perfectly healthy only overweight( I don't have hypothyroidism) . I had to take clomid (not because I was overweight) I watched my diet and exercised moderately during my pregnancy. I ended up losing weight during my pregnancy and had a very uneventful pregnancy ( I was worried being overweight that I would have problems) Just follow a sensible eating program and you will be fine.
