there is this guy named omar in the 8th grade at my school who wants to go out with me and i am in seventh. But yesterday, my friend told me that this girl said that he had no taste to like a girl as ugly as me. i felt like crying when i heard that because up until then i felt like a really pretty girl. when i heard that my self-esteem dropped wayy low. i had already told him that i thought of him as just a friend but he is really cute and a lot of girls like him. on top of that they found a gun in his locker even though it wasn't his everyone said i was going out with a criminal. ( the gun was another 8th graders who knew his locker combonation and tried to blame the gun on him) what should i do??? i am so confused! i am not going out with him b.t.w.

Okay some of you might remember that a couple of months ago I told you guys that my child's father didn't want anything to do with me. Well now he is consistently calling and visiting telling me how he wants to be in my daughters life and evrything. He told me that he thought I was lying about being prego but now that i am 51/2 months and he realizes that there will be a little girl coming into this world soon he wants to be there. He is picking out names and everything but i am not paying him any attention cause i don't trust him because of what he did for the first four months of my pregnancy by not being there. He ran away like a little a** boy and now he's back. Should I accept him back in my life or say f**k him?

My daughter was born a strong willed child who even at an early age (8months) seemed to need or want very little sleep. I would get up at 2am to go to the bathroom and hear her playing/talking in her bed.
This continued and between the ages of 3-5 we actually had to fix it so that she could not get out of her room at night; for her safety.
She is now 11 1/2, in the gifted class, beautiful, and still roaming the house at night. She takes stuff from the kitchen, food, drinks, windex, papertowels, and most recently a bag of brown sugar and a knife (sharp). She was going to use the knife to whittle.
Her father and I are going out of our minds, she is up until 2 or 3 sometimes. We have bribed, begged, taken her stuff, grounded her, stayed in her room with her(she can remain perfectly still with her eyes closed until we go to sleep) eliminated bed time as long as she stays in her room, extended bedtime with reading time, and the list goes on.
I am loosing my mind, all help welcome

I am in highschool and I'm trying to look to the future. I make good grades, was tested gifted, but I don't plan to attend a college. Any family or friends will be mad and/or disappointed with my decision. But isn't my future? I get long talks all the time about how college is right for me, but I know that it's not. How do I tell them I'm not going and that is it?

I have just recently got my fiance pregnant and we plan to marry very soon. I just moved out of my parents house shorter than a month ago. I am 19 and the girl I plan to marry is 18. How do I break the news to them about the baby and the marriage without having them freakout. Keep in mind...we have already moved in together (for not that long), I already have the ring, we have a good doctor and medicade to take care of us. Give me your opinions please.

but the two women who volunteered to be this year's room mothers are behaving very much like two high-school girls. They don't answer my emails, ignore me when we are at meetings, etc. I'm trying to keep my cool and ignore all of that, since ALL I want is to help the teacher, the school, and the kids of course.

I've offered to help them with whatever they need only I often try to initiate conversation with them only to be left aside while they discuss things among themselves. What is also strange is that NO OTHER MOM in my son's classroom volunteered to do A SINGLE THING yet! I'm the only one so far. I wonder what is going on here. I wasn't born in the United States (where we live now) and I speak with a slight Portuguese accent. I wonder if that is not the reason they are acting weird like this. Anybody has any thoughts, advice, ideas on how to deal with a situation like this? I only want what's best for my son and the other kids. I'm sort of frustrated by this whole thing right now

He has a bald spot on the back of his head.. I know it's because he lays on his back and that causes his hair not to grow, BUT for a few months now. He only lays on his back at night to sleep... During naps he is usually on his side.. ( he prefers to sleep that way ) or on his tummy. or if not he is sitting. Shouldn't his hair be growing if he doesn't spend that much time on his back?? Is there anything I can do? it doesn't seem to be getting anywhere?
