Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 September 2006

I have a 3 1/2 year old son who has always been very well behaved and well mannered, however, the past week he has been testing limits and mouthing off a lot. He was initially very excited about the birth of his sister 4 weeks ago and we didn't notice much of a behavior change, but we are seeing a steady increase in these negative behaviors and aren't really sure what the best approach is to stop them. I don't want to make any negative feelings toward his sister and cause resentment. I spend a great amount of time with them, as I am a stay-at-home mom with an in-home daycare, although naturally I have to spend a lot of time feeding and soothing the baby (she is a bit colicky). We still take him to fun places, play on-on-one with him and give him special treats. I am so frustrated with his behavior and between dealing with it and staying up all night with the baby I am getting to the end of my rope! Help...I want my good little boy back!!

First off please don't be rude to me I know a ton of moms are really mean to those who don't choose to breastfeed..
I will breastfeed the first six weeks but I am going to have to find a job after the 6 weeks. I have tried using my breast pump and it hurts and I never got anything out of it. I pumped for 45 minutes and couldn't even get an ounce. I don't have the time to do pump for 4 hours a day just so my baby can eat twice while I am working.. I have no choice but to go back to work or be homeless.
Whats the best way to switch them over from breast to bottle?

How can you tell exactly if your having contractions if the baby moves around alot? I heard if the baby is very active it can be hard to tell when your having a contraction. I have had back pain all day today,even when I switch positions it doesnt go away,and I have had on and off cramping and then it sometimes is constant,and I still have very very light pink spotting but not noticeable that much when I use the restroom. I have gestaional diabetes and it just feels like to much weight carrying any longer! Doctor says the baby prolly is not that big since I am not as big in the belly but the pain is killing me. Can I beg for a c section and possible get one since I am about 37 weeks?

Is it because they hate there country? Do they want a north american Union, Do they want america to be taken over by mexico? Do they want more inside jobs and government sponsered terrorism? Do they want a skull and bones devil worshipper as a president? Do they want iraqis and arabs (Yes afganistan had nothing to do with 9-11)murdered for the oil companies? Do they want the U.S. Consititon completely destroyed?

My son is nearly 5 and has walked on tip-toes ever since he began walking. In June he had his legs put in casts from the knee down to his toes to apparently break the "habit" for 2 months. Within a week of them being removed he started doing it again. Anypne else experienced this please?

Im not sure what to do when I got pregnant my boyfriend was delighted and we set a wedding date. Now he called it off and wanted me to have an abortion. I refused, since then he has given up his £65K a year job and is now selling his house so I can get no money or no child maintenance. He may get a profit on his house of £100k. What should I do? Im thinking I should tell him to stick his money but he never sees the child? What is the correct thing to do?

I have been off of birth control and trying to conceive for two years. In February 2006 my doctor put me on Metformin. I started with 500 mg and gradually made it up to 1500 mg a day. When I first started, I had my period right away, and then every other month afterwards - February, April, June - and have not had one since. The past 2 weeks have been really weird. I am extremely tired, falling asleep around 8 or 9pm and sleeping until 7am, I wake up atleast once each night to go to the bathroom (sensitive bladder) which was very rare for me previously, I am nauseous in the mornings and have thrown up 2 times in the past two weeks while brushing my teeth in the shower. What do you think? Did it finally happen? My doctors appt is next Wednesday - I hope I get good new.

i think i might be pregnant. but im having pain in my stomach. my right side by my ovaries hurts a little more than my left side. its not really intense. but i'm just worried. i have back pain. that hurts more than my stomach. my stomach just feels like some what period cramps.or like a pulled muscle. i can feel it when i take a deep breath. i'm scared. can some one please help me. i'm taking a test today when i get off work. i cant get in to see my doctor until friday. thanks.

1. Well there is guy named Jay at my school who is SOOOOOO hot! But the problem is, I'm practically a nerd. Not really a nerd, but I'm the girl that nobody knows. I'm the girl that no boys like--except geeky guys which are all GROSS! I have no clue what to do. I mean, I really like him and I have since the beginning of sixth grade. Now I'm in seventh and he knows I like him and he doesn't say its gross or anything. He just pushes it aside. Sometimes he'll look over at me at lunch and just sit there and stare at me with a blank face. It's weird. Does he like me? I'd appreciate it if a guy answers this question, too.

we have a 13 month old son and now i'm feeling broody again and want to try for a girl. i respect that my partener wants to wait til half way through next year but i want to go back to college next september which ill be 3 days a week so it will be a year before i start and a year doing the course then i want to get a job, whereas if we started trying for a baby now they could both go into a creche together and by the time i finished i will feel better about leaving them to go to work full time. my partener doesn't understand this and i dont want to concieve during my education again and i dont want a four year gap between my kids. Now i dont know what to do, everytime i see a baby i get more and more broody!!!!!!!! HELP

I TTC on the 12th and on the 17th. Supposedly my ovulation was between the 14th and 19th. I have noticed that my temp was up this morning when I awoke at 99.3 and I did feel a little achy in the tummy off and on one day. My secretions are getting thick and drying up. What do you think the chances are of conception? Thanks for your answers :)

I asked her why she does not like me she said i am too young and all the boys at school notice me and she hates the way i dress. I dont get it i dont dress like a trap i dress like a 21 year old professional which i am sometimes casual. Granted i am also 5ft6 and weigh 110 pounds and work out but how is that a problem?I try to look my best at all times and had a baby i am trying to figure out how to get around this.I mean i thought having a 21 year old step mom would be cool. But i understand it werid she is 12 years old. My husband is 27 and was only 15 when he fathered her.
