It COULD be an ectopic pregnancy......or, an ovarian cyst, endometreosis, gas pains, IBS symptoms, kidney stones, or even appendicitis.
Some of these mentioned above are potentially life-threatening, so delaying medical treatment could be dangerous.
Anxiety about what could be wrong will make the pain worse - so try taking a deep breath and relax for a sec.
Be prepared to 'rate your pain' on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being worst) - anything greater than a '5' should be evaluated by a health care provider. They will also want to know the following:
How long has this been happening? Specifically, what were you doing when you first noticed the pain?
Does the pain move - or stay in one place?
Describe the pain? (stabbing, shooting, aching, dull...)
Does any movement help it or make it worse?
Have your urinary output and bowel movement activity been regular?
When did you last eat, and what was your meal?
Any pertinent medical history? Or, has this type of thing happened before?
They will likely do a thorough physical exam, including urinalysis and bloodwork - and then you will know for sure.

Call 911 or get to the ER ASAP!
I experienced a tubal pregnancy 2 yrs. ago and almost died. I had to have an Emergency Surgery. First I did not even know that I was pregnant. It caught me by surprised one day when it felt like something had exploded in my stomach. I got real dizzy, felt faint, started vomiting, seeing stars, and got extremely hot. Believe it or not I stayed home until the next day and finally went to the Dr. the next morning. My Dr. told me if I would not have gotten in I would have died. My left tube had burst, and I had internal bleeding. The Dr. had to go in and clip part of my left tube including other surgery procedures.
PLEASE GET HELP NOW! IF YOU HAVE AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY YOUR LIFE MAY BE ON THE LINE!
BEST WISHES

If you are having a tubal pregnancy the test will still come out positive but will not confirm if it is tubal or not, only an ultrasound will. Are you having any spotting or pain round your shoulder blades or rectum, as these are signs of ectopic pregnancies. The best thing to do is to try and relax until Friday when you can see your doctor. Good luck and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is not a tubal pregnancy.

It may just be your body adjusting to the pregnancy. If you're having pain on your right side though it could be your appendix too. If the pain gets really bad don't hesitate to go to the doctor. My mom had a tubal pregnancy when she was pregnant with my brother (he was a twin and the other egg stayed in the tube and grew there till it ruptured and caused great pain...she knew something was wrong). I wouldn;t worry too much about mild pain until you talk to your doctor and they offer their advise as to what it is. But it;s your body and if you think something is seriously wrong take a trip to the ER and get checked out.

it sounds like you could be pregnant, obviously...thats how I felt when I first found out...but now im fifteen weeks and I still have what they call a Hot spot...its not on my right but my left side and yea it is pretty painful but its just a spot that is more suseptable to pain than others..I doubt very seriously that it is a tubal pregnancy as you would feel like you were about to die with pain...dont worry hun....you will be a o tay....and if you are pregnant...congrats. But I do agree that you need to go see your doc asap. But just relax...the more you stress as odd as this sounds...the more that spot and your back hurts.

You need to let the doctor's office know that you fear you may be experiencing a tubal pregnancy. A tubal is a very serious problem that puts your life at risk. They should be able to get you in and if not, you need to try a different doctor.

Doctors always leave appointments open for emergencies! Call them back and tell them that your pain is really bad they will get you in! It is not normal to be having this pain in early pregnancy. the pain you get with early pregnancy is more like cramps. I would get in right away, if you cant get in go to the emergency room, if it is tubal then your tube could explode! Thishappened to my friend definatley don't wait until Friday.

I had a tubal preg and it sounds like you MIGHT also. It's a good thing you're going to the doctor. However, if you get stabbing pains that won't go away in a few minutes get to the ER IMMEDIATELY!!! I tried to stick mine out over night and when I did finally go to the ER they told me that the tube had burst and that if I'd have waited one more hour I would have bled to DEATH!!!!!!!!!

seek urgent care, tubal pregnancies are very dangerous. not only are you running the risk of losing your unborn child's life, but your own as well. don't be scared, but get to a doctor asap. this may also have an unwanted effect on conceiving in the future.

It's not worth it to worry about this right now...there is simply no way to know 1 - is you are pregnant or 2 - if it is tubal. It's unlikely you'd have pain this soon. In my first days of pregnancy I had similar pains, and still get them sometimes, and it's no big deal. It's really not worth it to worry about little ahces and pains - it could be anything and you'd know if it was serious. best wishes!
