I am due Oct 31 with my first child, a son

I am 34 weeks pregnant today. He is in the head down position but he hasn't actually "dropped" just yet. I walk alot and I see my doctor tomorrow at 10:30am...I'm going to have him check to see if there is any effacement/thinning/dilation of my cervix....I want him out!!!!!!!

10 months(yes 10 months(lunar months)....a pregnancy isn't exactly 9 months...it's 40 weeks...divide it by roughly 4 weeks every month and its 10 months!!!...so plz all the uneducated individuals who WILL argue that please dont bother!!!!!!!

but yea like I was saying 10 months is toooooooooo long...I'm at 8 1/2 months today.....My son is 5lb 19 inches long...I mean he seems darn ready to me

Is there anything I can do to help him come into this world when he's considered full term...which is in 3 weeks @ 37 weeks!!!!!!!

Has anyone out there known of someone or has done anything to help their child be born before their due date.???HELP!!!

on round 3 of clomid, my OB increased my mg's to 100 this month. Last month on day 21 of cycle he ordered a blood test to check progesterone level it was 2.2, which he said was low. We already checked my thyroid which was fine. What are my chances of conceiving? I haven't had this problem before. I have 2 children and both were conceived within months of being of BCP. This time I was on depo for almost 3 years.

It was wrong for me, it said boy and I had a girl. Now i'm pregnant again it says girl. Just wondering who else tried this? Did it work? I know it's for fun and it doesn't matter as long as the babies healthy. Just wondering if it worked for others or not?

I have a 5 month old son. At about 9 weeks old he started sleeping through the night. He would sleep for about 10+ hours straight. When he was 3 months old we moved to a new house and he would get up 5 times a night. This went on for about 5 weeks or so. When I asked the doctor about it they said it was normal for them to wake up when they have moved, it takes awhile to readjust to their new home. At four months we have started him on cereal just before bed and he still gets up 2-3 times a night. This has been going on for over a month now. Help. He is not hungry, and I have tried to let him cry, it doesn't work. His naps during the day are the same and he is up by 4:30 pm and doesn't nap again until time for bed. Any thoughts?

How old was your baby when s/he stopped liking to be swaddled? My son is 3.5 months and I swear the swaddling is what keeps him asleep at night. But he will grow out of it (never seen a 19yr old still swaddled at night!) How did your little one communicate that s/he didn't like swaddling anymore? I've heard most kids grow out of it by now, but I know a 6 month old who still likes it...

How do you pronounce the name 'Celeste'? My sister is considering naming her baby this. Are there any middle names it goes well with.
Sorry about putting it here. I'm new and I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

I am 37.4 weeks pregnant and I have recently heard that taking Robitussin while you are trying to conceive helps with the process due to the mucous thinning properties of the cold medication. As I thought about it some more, I recalled that I did take the medicine for a cold that I had in wintery Canada in January and it WAS during the time that we conceived! Crazy huh! Just curious...has anyone used it purposely to conceive and did it work? Thanks! :)

My husband and I are in our mid 20's. We planned to have children once we were debt free (our house was paid off).

We are finally paying off our house in a few months, but my mother-in-law is now saying she thinks our house might not be big enough for children.

She thinks it might be a good idea to sell our house and buy a bigger one when we have more than one child.

Our house is 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and is 1,650 square feet.

Our backyard is fairly small, it is pretty much a very large patio. We plan on making it all cement since it is too small for grass.

We are planning on having two children, possibly three at the most.

I live in California and now that house prices have gone sky high, I really don't we could afford to buy another house now.

Plus, we really don't want to get another house loan since we will be 100% debt free.

Do you think our house and yard are too small for 2 or 3 children?
