lets say you know the days you had sex.and you feel you may be pregnate...would a pregnancy test show postitive as early as 10 days to the day you think you got pregnate?

I think the earliest is 4 days before your period is due

maybe if it was a First Response test and 1st thing in the morning. If you get a negitive I wouldn't give up just yet. It took mine 10 minutes to barely show up...so don't trash it right away!
You also need to realize that the day you had sex may not have been the day you got pregnant. Sperm can live for about 3 days.... so you could only be 7 days past.

It is possible. The First Response early test is very sensitive. At that point, though, I think there is only about a 56% chance of it showing positive if you are pregnant. The hcg levels are still so low at that point that it is likely most tests will miss them. There is a great website, http://www.peeonastick.com , that can tell you all about pregnancy tests and has pictures of positives at different days post ovulation, so you can get an idea of how faint the line might actually be.

no u will just have to wait. Some show 4 days before that is how I fiund out. First response shows early

Some might. You may want to try the digital tests, they usually work better for early detection.

It just depends on how strong the H.G.C. level is...I would just wait until the expected day of your period. Good Luck!
