If any toy could ever bring back the memory of the original "Child's Play", it has to be this toy. Elmo's cute, lovable, good company, on tv, harmless and now in a super-secret box and somewhat exlusive. (ring any bells yet?) Does a few "the exorcist" moves, and let's be honest, if it starts playing a different soundtrack instead of "ha ha ha, Oh boy, that tickles!", you'd throw that thing away faster than a mofo. I think tech-wise it's at the perfect price, socially wise, a little behind it's time... but as a whole it's definately ahead of it's time and that's scary. As I recall, some people say, "No respectable parent could buy a red doll that throws epileptic tantrums and asks strangers to tickle him", I however say... I hope my kids don't cry if that red thing starts shaking on the floor reciting hail mary backwards.

I went to the store(s) last night for one and all of them were sold out. At Target I was chatting with the lady checking out my items and mentioned that I had wanted one for my daughter. She said she had one left and went and got it, they had pulled it from the shelves to show the staff and never put it back. I consider myself very lucky. It is a cute toy, but keeping it a secret from my 2 year old until Christmas is going to be hard.

Really cute toy. I dont know if I would go through the trouble of getting one though. Of course my son is only 3 months old and he won't be able to ask for one!

it is a REALLY cute toy I have to find one for each niece and nephew for Christmas! I love Elmo he is so cute!

I dont like it much. I normally like elmo he is cute..but I dont imagine my daughter playing with it much. Here it sells for $49.99 and so far we have only sold 1 at our store.
I think its alot of hype for nothing special.
cute.. but meh.
