My son said Mom at 4 1/2 months. I had plenty of witnesses so I know I wasn't just hearing things.

My son has just said his first word about 2 weeks ago He was 7 months on the 6 of September Oh course it was Mama.

My baby is 6 1/2 months & just started saying "ba ba" referring to her bottle. She can say dada & mama, starting around 5 months but uses them out of context:o) She thinks mama means "pick me up" and dada means bye bye...

My oldest daughter was "mome"...meaning some...she wanted some french fries. LOL Dang she is like 16 now...I think she was about 6-8 months then.

5 months....banana....shortly followed by "wazat" (what's that) at 6 months------and she hasn't stopped since...9 years old
