my last NORMAL period was on July 13th. me and my hubby are TTC and we had sex around my ovulation time. then my next period was supposed to come around August 13th but it was 9 days late and it was lighter than usual. the first day was BAD cramping and light blood not enough to fill up a pad (TMI). and it ENDED 2 days early. i usually go for 7 this time it was 5. that has NEVER happened to me. i took 2 test in august but they were negative. and i have some symptoms like fatigue, back ache, tired all the time and some nausea. and i have been cramping a little. so my period should come in the next 2 or 3 days. Should i take a test now or wait to see what happens? Thank you

I have a five month old son and can't lose my pregnancy weight. I'm still exclusively breastfeeding, but it doesn't seem to be helping with the weight part. I only gained 25 pounds when I was pregnant and right after, I dropped the 25 pounds within 5 weeks -- I have now gained them back. I feel like I'm starving all the time, but I'm trying REALLY hard not to snack too much and just eat regular meals. I play softball and tennis several nights a week. It's gotten so bad and embarassing because my husband thinks (and says) I'm disgusting. I don't know how to lose this weight -- I can't "diet" because of breastfeeding and I don't have anymore time than I'm already dedicating to exercise. I've been so depressed that last month my dr gave me an rx for zoloft, but I've also heard that can cause weight gain so I haven't started taking it. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

My hubby & I have been TTC for sometime now. We had sex every other day last month since my last period ended, (my period was Aug.15th to Aug. 20th). We had sex on the 30th of Aug & then not agian until Sept.17th. I was suppose to get my period on Sept.12th but haven't got it yet. I had a urine test done and a blood test. they both turned out negative. But I still have not got my period. Yesturday, I had this pinkish white mucus (ONLY when I wiped & it wasn't there everytime) Today, it is the same way but was only there once when I went to the bathroom (out of the 4 times). If I would have concieved, when we had sex on the 30th could it be implantation bleeding now or is it to late for it to be that or do you think it is my period coming? I have no pains or cramps. If you think it is implatation bleeding, do you think thats why I got a negative on both pregnancy test? My period is not like this, when I get it. It ALWAYS starts with really bad cramps and is heavy. What do you think?

Hes 11 months old. His grandmother who was keeping him then is the 1 who called me 4 my services. The mom told me he rarely cried.My first day keeping him wasnt that bad and I told mom that when she called to check. After that it got worse everyday. Mom has a differrent excuse for it each day, saying hes not like this all the time just because hes teething, earache,etc. I called her to pick him up finally because he screamed 4 hours, told her something apparently is wrong with him. He also calls me mom, my hubby dad, hits the other kids and his mom, he thinks its funny. I am going all day without using the bathroom, feel as if I am neglecting my own son.I wonder if this is why grandma stopped watching him because she will still come and pick him up for a couple of hours now and then. I thought it was bc she was too busy. Child doesnt cry after mom at all. He screams when I am in the kitchen but still in sight fixing the other kids breakfast then crawls to me, tries to climb my leg, etc

The week before I was suppose to get my period I took a test. I have had two miscarraiges and really would love to get pregnant. The week I was suppose to get my period I was extremely tired and my stomach was bugging me. I took a pregnancy test then and it was negative. I had an appointment later that week and they did a blood pregnancy test, negative. Since then I have had another blood test taken and another urine test. I do not have tender breasts but I am really tired. Could I still be pregnant even though I have had 2 negative blood pregnancy tests? or what else could it be?

My 5 month old is in daycare from 7 to 2pm. He sleeps 2 half hour naps when he is there. Then, he won't take a nap for us until 5pm, and only sleeps 45 minutes. At night, he sleeps from 8/8:30 to 6:00am. It seems like he should be getting more sleep. Does this sound normal/abnormal to other mothers? He sleeps all night except for one feeding which he pretty much sleeps through anyway. Does this sound like enough? And yes, we do have a very established bedtime routine.

Smacking children to condition their behaviour when very young is a practise that dates back to egyptian times at least, and probably much earlier since apes are known to discipline their children with the odd cuff now and then. This is a behaviour that has obviously worked for thousands of years, since humans have flourished, developed agriculture, language, civilisation etc. It might be considered a 'natural' form of behaviour. No-one invented it, it just evolved to fit a need.

I am not aware that any unbiased scientific study has ever been performed with appropriate controls to quantitatively measure the effects of smacking as a form of discipline compared with the no-smacking approach. Whereas genetic engineering is based on years of hard scientific research.

Yet the very same people who are most vocal about the harm that smacking causes are often the same people that say you shouldn't mess with plant genetics to create GM foods. Why then is it OK to mess with society?

My husband and I been using condoms 4 3mos now. but ders dis instance dat he forgt 2 put it on. My last period was Aug 3, and it hasnt come yet. Im worried though ive been using home preg kit (but resulrs was always negative). is der any possibility that i can be pregnant even if result is negative? bcoz im feeling a bit of tiredness sometime.. excessive salivation.. and my nostrils are much active now. tanx. i appreciate if somebody ans.. im worried. we dont want another baby, yet.

Seen some answers to my own questions that are just beyond my ideas of why the world is, as is, and suppose we are just in for more of the same of broken bodies and grief - service men and women on the line as I write this all around the world and if you had ever seen up close and personal what damage can be done to the body, I would like to think nobody would want to be in anyway violent but especially to children. That is when we learn to lash out and George W Bush must have had an 'interesting' childhood - jeez like father like son - both fighting wars everywhere when they were able to.
