my last NORMAL period was on July 13th. me and my hubby are TTC and we had sex around my ovulation time. then my next period was supposed to come around August 13th but it was 9 days late and it was lighter than usual. the first day was BAD cramping and light blood not enough to fill up a pad (TMI). and it ENDED 2 days early. i usually go for 7 this time it was 5. that has NEVER happened to me. i took 2 test in august but they were negative. and i have some symptoms like fatigue, back ache, tired all the time and some nausea. and i have been cramping a little. so my period should come in the next 2 or 3 days. Should i take a test now or wait to see what happens? Thank you

Well, you already took two tests a little while back. Why not wait it out? Perhaps you just have some sort of illness. I can only suggest that you go to the gyno's office and have them do a simple check up. Sometimes, the mind tricks you into believeing that you are pregnant and you notice symptoms and link them to pregnancy. Your just worrying yourself too much. It's understandable, but it's not doing any good is it?
Good Luck. And if you are pregnant, are you and the hubbs ready to bring a human life on this earth? One to call your own child? Yes, mistakes happen im sure but a human should NOT fall in this category....Whatever happens, I hope your just happy with yourself. Have a nice day!

In this instance I would recommend retesting with a medical professional. If you were pregnant during the last "unusual" period you cycled through, it could mean that you are at risk for an ectopic pregnancy, tubal pregnancy. If so, that is something you want to discover as soon as possible.
That being said, it can be normal to continue having minor periods during the first trimester. At least it is not unheard of. If you are not continuing to experience menstruation and the attendant side effects of cramps, then you are probably in a good place. However, seeing a medical professional as soon as possible is always the recommendation when there is a potential pregnancy.

I had the same experience. You better let the doctor do the test. When i tried pregnancy test last time, it was negative. I tried it again with a diferent brand, still it was negative. When we went to the doctor, it was positive. So it is better to let the doctor do it because if you really wanted a child and it shows negative on the pregnancy test, you will end up going to the doctor anyway to confirm it, and considering on what you are experiencing now. Better do it one time and accurate.

I would go ahead and wait til after your expected period. I would still take a test after the expected period though. Because some people still have a normal period while pregnant.

I think you should go ahead and test. Ususally if you are pregnant the test will tell you even if you haven't missed your period. Mine always told me yes and it was before i missed my period. I noticed myself not feeling the same and took one. My sister took her test a week before her period was suppose to start and it came up positive. I would go ahead and take the test. If it says negative just wait a week and if you stil haven't started take another one.

You can take a test now, try Answer or First Response. Both are made to detect the HCG hormone before your missed pregnancy. Get the 2 pack.
You know you want to :) Run and get a test now and then let us all know.
Good luck!!!!!!

well... you should just wait a week. if nothing happens. your more farther along than you think. (my last period was July 6 and I spotted in august just a bit and I'm 11 weeks preggo) You might want to see your doctor if your test comes out negative too, it could be something more serious than pregnancy (like cancer, or diabetes)

if it was nine day late and very light then I would go to the ob/gyn. sometimes you will have very light bleeding when the egg is attaching to the sidewall. Make an appointment with your ob or go to the local health department.
