Seen some answers to my own questions that are just beyond my ideas of why the world is, as is, and suppose we are just in for more of the same of broken bodies and grief - service men and women on the line as I write this all around the world and if you had ever seen up close and personal what damage can be done to the body, I would like to think nobody would want to be in anyway violent but especially to children. That is when we learn to lash out and George W Bush must have had an 'interesting' childhood - jeez like father like son - both fighting wars everywhere when they were able to.

I think you've made a good observation. It goes beyond the grow up in violence- learn violence, IMO. You can raise a child in a nonviolent way, but if you don't teach and show that child how to respect others or to find some sense of understanding of both sides of an argument, there is always a chance that child may grow up to be a bully- just like the example you gave above.

Many brilliant people, both relatively unknown and very renowned have spoken on the downsides of violence and force. I like the quote from Abraham Lincoln-

Force is all-conquering, but its victories are short-lived.

I think you're absolutely right. We are a mirror image of what we've seen and been through. And in our adult life, we as human tend to continue repeating the same path sometimes without even knowing that the pattern still exist.

Lash out at GW BUSH eh? Nice call. If you have never read a biography about Bush, then you know nothing about him. Your bi-polar is showing up in every one of your questions.
