I am 36 weeks and a couple days pregnant. I found out I have gestational diabetes. I have been having so much pain and feeling like crap, and my stomache feels like its going to pop! I am a smaller framed person and my husband is a stockier built person. Do you think there is any way for them to induce me or schedule a c-section soon? Or will they most lilely make me wait untill I go into natural labor. I want to tell my dr. today when I go about all the pain I am having in my back and everything and hope she will see about getting him out of me soon, but I am not sure if she will. I have been in the hospital about four times with false contractions, and have alot of symptoms that labor is near. Could she induce or schedule c-section soon?

Ok I feel kindof odd telling strangers my business but i need to know what you think....It's been 50 days since the start of my last period. I am not having any sickness no breast tenderness or any moodswings or anything I feel ok body wise i'ts just that i dont know if i am preg or not. I was informed by my docter a few months ago due to a condition i have that when i am activly trying to conceive i will need to be put on hormone therapy because my hormones wouldnt be enough and that if i got preg without them i would lose the baby within the first three months..ok i took a preg test almost two weeks ago and it was negative what do you think ? What could be going on? i am scheduled to see my doc on oct 2nd!!!

For beating up a little classroom bully known for pushing your kid around and hitting him?

I told my boy, even if he gets in trouble with the teacher for whooping this kids @ss, he wouldn't be in trouble with mommy and daddy, and we were going to do all of the things I mentioned to celebrate. Is this a bad idea? I'm trying to get the boy to grow some balls and stand up to these little 5-6 year old punks in his kindergarden class. Any other suggestions? I've truly had it with the caliber of classmates he has here.

I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago. I found out I have developed Type II last summer. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and already went through the glucose 1 hour and 3 hour testing early on in my pregnancy, around 13 weeks or so. I failed the 1 hour, and passed the 3 hour with flying colors. I go this friday for my 3 hour test. My doctor told me to just skip over the 1 hour and straight to the 3 hour. My regular numbers that i've been taking with my meter have been extremely high. Has anyone passed their 3 hour test with having Type II? I'm afraid that this is going to be Gestational Diabetes again. I'm finding it harder and harder to control my sugar levels the further I get into my pregnancy. I had my Type II under total control before I got pregnant.

I’m 43 and have been trying to conceive for 2 years. Through out this time my FSH level was under 10. In June 06 it was 9. so we blood test. My Dr. told me my FSH level was a 52 and that I’m in full blown menopause. Is this possible that I went through the change in 2 months without any symptoms? Could it have been the pill that increased the level? Is there anything I can take to decrease the FSH level? My dr was so cold I made an appointment for a second opinion but would like some advice?

I am 28weeks (and some change) and I am huge! I have gained 32lbs and I am all belly. The doctor that checked me yesterday said they baby responds to my actions hich they usely can't do untill further along. Everyone askes me if I'm having a boy (which I'm not -Its a girl-) or they ask if I'm towards the end. The baby is extremely low and I'm extremely huge!
Could I be further along?? Should they check at my next appointment?

I don't understand this category. The phrase "trying to conceive" implies that somebody would be getting pregnant on purpose! Seriously though, since this is obviously not the case, what does it mean? The only thing I can think of is that it's some kind of euphemism for sex, like "Me and this chick were 'trying to conceive' last night if you know what I mean." That would make sense, because they don't really have a plain old "sex" category, but they should just call it "making whoopie" or something.

What do you think?

I asked a question not too long ago about my son who is constantly grabbing for things in stores and just being a “normal” seven month old. I put the question up to a vote because there were a lot of great answers and I couldn’t decide. Today I went back to the question and couldn’t believe which one was voted as best! It’s not that I’m mad at voters, I am just curious as to why is this considered the best answer to some people? If it is then why shouldn’t I say no to my child even at seven months? When do kids “grow up” enough to be disciplined and told “no” for unacceptable behavior? I am just so shocked! Thank you for your response!

Last night a friend of mine took her 12 yr old daughter and 2 of her 12 yr old girlfriends to a baseball game. As they were leaving the ballpark, there was a guy in the parking lot selling t-shirts that said "Dallas sucks and TO swallows". All 3 girls asked her what does that mean? She told them to ask their mothers when they turn 18. LOL

Ok, I really like this girl named Josie in my class and I'm pretty sure she knows it, I talked to her best friend Caileigh and she guessed that I liked her, she then told Josie. I dunno how to impress her or anything, I really like her and I wanna go out with her, I think that one of the problems interfering with her is that I'm the "School Goth" I dress in all black but dont worship Satan or anything alot of the people say I'm really nice, any tips? Another problem is that this girl I know really likes me and I dont wanna hurt her by telling her I like Josie and not her

my son's teacher gives the kids treats every friday (such as small toys or candy). My 5 year old got his candy friday, ate it. all was good. Yesterday, when I go pick him up, his teacher tells me that he ate some kids candy that was in the other child's basket. the excuse "it was there and i wanted it". I was really upset. I told the teacher to not give my kid a treat this week but allow the other boy two.
My cousin thinks I over reacted and I shouldn't have done that. That he is only 5 and doesn't really know right from wrong. I think I should of done more.

Opinios please.
I did talk with my child and explained.

I know someone who won't sleep in her own bed. She enjoys the couch much more. How will we get her to sleep in her own bed? People call her a baby but she sleeps on the couch just fine. She'll sleep in her bed occasionally, but without the T.V on she can't seem to get to sleep. Her room has a T.V, but not cable. How can we get her to sleep in her own bed?
