I want to get pregnant now becaue me and my husband will not really be able to have sex after oct. 11 because he is have knee surgey and will not be able to move around a lot. Not to mention he will not be able to put any presure on the knee. Hell he will not be able to use it to walk for 2 months.

Well tomhale not that is should be any of your business but he will only be off a week and he is using vacation. He is going back to work on crches.

We have been trying for about 8 months now and no luck. With this it will take even longer. That is why i want to get pregnant this month.

You have to know when was your period started last month. Count up to 14 days from that day. That is when you are ovulate. Add 2 days before and 2 days after that 14th day. (the 12th, 13rd, 14th, 15th, 16th day). Have intercourse during those 5 days boost up your chance of getting pregnant. Good luck!

It is impossible to choose what month you will get pregant so here is some advice
buy an ovulator tester, there is a company on ebay that sells them very cheaply here's a link to some of their stuff http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=ovulation+test
If you know what your cycle is- say 28 days, on the 11 day after your period first started, you need to test your urine. When you are fertile you will get two lines on the tester stick and this is the day you and your husband should make love. Be warned- even if you are ovulating that day- there is only a 20% chance you will get pregnant. It is surprisingly difficult to get pregnant, the avergae couple takes 6-12 months to become pregnant.
If you have been on the pill- don't attempt pregnancy until atleast 2 months after you have stopped taking it as the pill can causes drastic birth defects.
The likeliness of you getting pregnant immediately is quite slim, although of course possible, but I don't see why a knee operation should matter- there are positions you can use that do not require him to move very much- you on top for instance. Also, a knee operation is not forever, you can still have a baby once he is feeling alot better.

Well dear , you didn't mentioned whether you used bbt (basal body temperature). It's a fertility temperature that you take just before you get up from bed. Or else you can try ovulation prediction kits available from all pharmacies. You have to pin point the ovulation to get pregnant. Do you notice a middle tummy ache ? Some people even feel the ovulation. Try to notice, take care and a lot of baby dust for you. Good luck dear !!

do you know when you ovulate? If you do then have sex every other day in the days leading up to it, after he has ejaculated, stay on your back with a pillow under your butt for about 20 to 30 minutes to keep the stuff from leaking out, i have heard if he takes a cold bath before hand that might help. I have been trying to conceive for about 8 months now, but i have female issues so that why its taking longer for me.

Get an ovulation kit at the pharmacy so you make sure you know when you are ovulating and then have sex at least three times the week before ovulation and definitely do it on the day of ovulation and the day after. That would increase your chances. Good luck!

hm, well with him out of work sounds like an ideal time to enlarge your family. anyway, there is a position that would enable him to have sex without hurting his knee, its called you on top. If that is not possible, then i suggest you get busy and use the rest of the time you have till the 11th.

Watch for your discharge to be clear and stretchy. This is prob a day before you ovulate...have intercourse that day. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND!
