When you ladies were pregnant or to those that are, before you knew or even a few days after you found out, did you feel really out of it. I have been out of it, like I didn’t get sleep. I missed my period and I may be pregnant. I will find out on Friday after I have blood work done.

Did any of you feel this way?

Thanks :)

A few days ago I was moping my floor , I turned around for a second to rinse the mop , when I turned back around my son was on the floor licking it ! He also did that when I wiped off our coffee table . Is this normal?? Should I talk to his pediatrician about this? He is licking anything thats being cleaned.

I get so annoyed when I see all these questions about teens having sex. Teens having sex is not something that just started happening yesterday!!! My grandpa was 17 when he and my grandmother were maried; she was 19. They had their first child in around a year later. My parents had me when mom was 18 and dad was 23. Does anyone else get annoyed with this or is it just me?

My daughter Anna is 3 1/2 months and yesterday she pooped a dark runny olive green color. Today it was the color of wet conctrete. I had been breastfeeding but over the past 2 weeks or so have mostly switched to formula. Her poop had been normal until yesterday. I don't think she's sick because she's acting fine. What's going on?

Well the last time I had my period was in Dec. Since then nothing has been happening. I took the depo provera shot on Dec. 9 2005, that was the first and last time I ever took it. It's been more then 8 month that i have'nt gotten my period. I also have a lot of pelvic pain at times, nausia and vomitting occure, and i dont have that much of an appitiet. I feel like i'm pregnate at times, I’ve taken two preganacy test before and i've had blood work done in feb. To make sure I’m not pregnant. Everything came back negative. And the last time I had any relations was in May. Other then that I’m normal my body looks fine in fact I’m losing weight. I just feel very tired at times, I also start to feel real weak my hands, and arms start to shake until I rest for a while and it stops.

Its disturbing how many you see on these boards always wondering if they are pregnant or not. Don't they teach about abstinence and contraception in schools anymore? Where are the parents?? Its really sad. I'm definately going to raise my kids to be smarter than that!

I've heard that during your 1st trimester of the pregnancy a girl can get real moody. How early does that kick in? My best friend has been fooling around lately and I'm not sure if she might be pregnant since she doesn't use protection no matter how much I suggest that she do, and she has become extremly moody for a week or so. I'm really worried about her. Thanks in advance!!

I am a mother of a 2 year old who will be 3 next month her name is Isabella and i love her too death. I honestly never thought i could ever love someone this much. But i am afraid my parents did most of her raising for me this is my last year of college and my parents have decided to retire not too far still in the tri-state area. I have an apartment (rented)and my parents covered my tuition thus far and still do. I have a job part time i make about 800 dollars a week it pays for my books and anything else i may need but am concerned this might not be enough. The area the apartment is in does have frat houses and the like one is next door. For the most part they keep it down. My daughter has been with me living for three days and crys a lot today i was called out of class to go pick her up from daycare. How can i help her adapt better? I really cant afford to leave class?

I just started the nuvaring 4 weeks ago, took it out last wen. started bleeding today at work, inserted an OB tampon in. I took about 5 tylonal today and i still had cramps, Took out the tampon put a new one in, then a couple min. ago i took it out and on the tampon way a clot (thats short of a light pinkish white color, and a little dark red, its also stretchy , i put it in a paper cup and tried braking it and it wont brake)

Is this normal since i just started the nuvaring? Also One day last week i forgot to put the ring back in after sex.

I wish someone could explain to me why my son who is turning 7 has to go in a booster seat and my daughter that is 8 and actually smaller than him doesn't have to be in one. Our state is 4'9, 80 pounds or through 7 years. Both of my kids have a booster seat and use them no matter what but here is my son 4'5 and 64 pounds and my daughter is 4'1 and 45 pounds but the law says he has to be in one and she doesn't. Does anyone else understand this does our government think that an 8 year old is less valuable than a 7 year old or what. And why do some parents throw a fit over making sure their child is safe and in a booster seat I mean if they came out with a seat that they said would make my 14 year old safer she would be in one as well.

Hey Girls! I want to know all of the things you did to get pregnant! Whatever silly or quirky thing it was! Vitamins, legs in the air, what u ate and drank! Whatever, I am willing to try almost anything, plus just curious to hear all your stories

Specifically for all the parents that beleive in "Child centered parenting". When do you take the time out for you? Do you eat when you are hungry? Do you drink when you are thirsty? Do you pee and poo when you have to go? Do you just suffer through these basic biological necessities and devote 100% of your waking hours to your offspring?

I'm not trying to sound smart this time. See, this has been the purpose of my 3 previous questions today. To try and understand your method of thinking so that I can be more educated. I personally have found it dangerous, and next to impossible as well to drink a hot cup of coffee while holding a baby. Same principle with hot food.

I personally give you women 2 thumbs up if you truly devote 100% of your wake hours to your baby/kids, and are still of sound mind and body while doing so. I'll proudly accept the title of being a lesser mother than you based on this virtue because I need some me time daily, and I will take it as needed.

Thanks.

I have a 5 month old and so far I have stayed at home with him. I have recently been thinking about going back to work part time. I am a dental hygienist. I am not too sure about daycare. My child cries all of the time, and I am not sure how he would be treated at day care. Any suggestions and is it even worth going back to work to have to pay for daycare?
