Ovulation just means that your chances of getting pregnant during that time are very high. A woman can get pregnant any time as long as the lining of the uterus is full, if you know what I mean. Try not to be desperate if you really want a baby - what I mean by that is make love with him and enjoy don't be thinking, "I hope I get pregnant", in other words stop chasing the pregnancy then you're likely to get pregnant. Good luck and I hope you get what you want.

You ovulate usually about 14 days after the first day of you last period but some women may ovulate on the 13th day or even the 15th day. So I would say no. I would bet more on the 17th 18th or 19th. I have calculated my ovulation dates for my first pregnancy and my current one so when my husband was home on leave we could conceive. I hit it exactly this time. Not all women ovulate every month though either. I have had no problems but it still never happened the first month I started to calculate it all out. I used the tests for my first pregnancy and this one I just marked my period on a calendar and counted to figure out the 3 day window for my ovulation period. Don't be disappointed if it doesn't work right away but a cycle can be off by a day or two and mess it all up. If your cycle is irregular you need to figure out if you are more of a 26, 27, 28, 29, or even 30 day cycle and go from there and usually it takes a few periods to figure that out. I know they say temperature but I never really got the jist of that and never really relied on that alone. I hope this wasn't too confusing and good luck.

you are usually fertile 10 -16 days after your last period started ie 13-19th sep this month. Ovulation kits are very unreliable I'm afraid. Hope you manage to get it together soon

some people shouldnt plan to get pregnant...........

but just for your info,,, you ovulate in the middle between your periods so based on the days he is going to be in town there is a very high possibility that you will not be fertile, but it depends on more than fertility ,his fertility, the right temperature. etc. right b4 and after you rperiod is when you are the most infertile.
