My doctor is ordering an ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy in the next day or so. At what point in a pregnanyc is an ectopic pregnancy most likely to rupture? Should I go to the hospital tonight to see?

Between six to eight weeks pregnant is when the fallopian tube tends to rupture.

How far along are you? A tubal pregnancy will start to rapture when it outgrows the size of your tube and I read somewhere that this is from ten weeks onwards. In my case I was misdiagnosed and it raptured my tube at 13 weeks. I dont think you need to worry too much as your doctor would have called you in immediately if he thought that it was on the verge of rapturing. If you are having an ectopic pregnancy I'm really sorry for your loss, but do not worry, your next pregnancy can still be normal even if they remove the tube, it happend to me and I am now 29 weeks along-good luck

it all depends on the size of the development of the zygote and the size of your fallopian tubes. I don't think they can predict that until an ultrasound. If your doctor was concerned, he wouldn't wait for the ultrasound. It seems to me that he has it under control. Do you even know if you DO have one. If that hasn't been confirmed, it sounds like he is just doing a routine ultrasound, and that is one of the things they obviously look for in any pregnancy. Don't get yourself overly worked up over something that might not be a problem.

She had to have a sergery to fix the bleeding but they said that if you had waited like another hour she most likley would had died from bleeding

It can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks. At 8 weeks the baby is only about the size of a pinto bean.
