There is no coralation between previous placenta previa and other pregnancies. It is in direct relation to how the embryo implants. Every pregnancy is different, and more then likely, you will be watched more closely this time then you were the last, but if the ultrasound shows no problem, then you won't have a problem. It is also possible to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). If you had a section with your last one, talk to your doctor about this option. There are many different things that are weighed, so your doctor will do what's best in your individual situation.

I also had previa with my last pregnancy & ended up with emergency c-section because of abruption. My doctor says there is risk of reoccurance but not much more than normal & I could still have a vaginal birth next time. We will just have to see when that gets here.

It is best to talk about this with your doctor. They will probably be sure to check this when you get your scan done to be on the safe side.
