I have joined the U.S. Navy and due to my current college credits, I am coming in as an EO3, and by april 2008 I will have my bachelor's degree in accounting and financing. Is it possible for me than to apply for OCS?
If not, am I in any kind of advantage promotion wise as an enlisted officer,because of my education now and the bachelor's degree I will have in 7 months, and my age ( I am now 26)?
I was also told the only way to be a "mustang" is to go to war, is that true?

Specifically, are there any loop holes (exceptions, special permissions) that would allow somebody that was enlisted, convicted at a general court martial of drug charges and then discharged with a dishonorable discharge, to EVER re-enter the military.

If you are one of those people who mistakenly believes that anybody who has ever been kicked out of the military is some kind of bad person that can't be trusted, please do not respond to this question. I am looking for a true answer.

What I am looking for is:
a: Who would need to be contacted?
b: Is it even possible (I am not saying it would be easy, I just want to know if it is POSSIBLE if the right person was convinced)?
c: Any information someone may have on this?

Instead of filling up jail cells with criminals that are sentenced for a long time, I think it would make sense to give them an option of freedom as long they assist the military in war. For example, why send in troops that work hard, have families and actually want something out of life. They could use criminals for setting up equipment, looking for land mines, etc. If they escape, they are not going to make it very far in Iraq. I think this is a good idea and would probably save tons of money and give criminals an option to do something else instead of rotting away in a cell. What do you think , I would like to hear pros and cons.

I am interested in joining the military (either navy or coast guard i think) and I will have a bachelors degree in communication by december. I was wondering what the rank and other benefits would be by going in with an education?

Also, I am single and have a dog that I am very attached to. I could not possibly give him up, although I do have family who will watch him during training and and short deployments. so my question is will this work out? can I have a dog and be enlisted (will having a higher rank allow me to live off base?) and for the navy, how often and for what length of time are ships at sea?

i was thinking of joining the Marines or Army for 2 years so i could get a better chance in being in a SWAT team. I want to go to college for 2 years before i join either the marines or army. One President? I asked this question before: because the South doesn't seem to want the land. It's kind of up for Grabbs right? Also it seem to me the only thing they want to do: is push drugs and kill people. There all putting there life on the line to get here so it tells me they need help! The land is soo beautiful too! Were all live happily ever after! Do you think it would work. Were always trying to help countrys out in time of need. They don't seem to need or want their land! Not Canada!!! Just the south.
