Depends on your AIT start date, If your start date is compatible for Sept ship date then you go if not then it might take longer.

I was supposed to ship out to basic Sept. 20th but some paperwork was missing from my recruiter when I went to MEPS. The process got delayed and finally he turned it all in. He called today and said that he was waiting for the FBI check to come back, which should have been here at 2 PM, and then I could finally get sworn in tomorrow. Unfortunately it didn't come in and now it's the waiting game. He said we probably won't hear anything until Tuesday now. So yes, it can take a while. Anything that involves shifting papers takes a while.

Ship out where? To Basic Training? Anyway, relax and enjoy your freedom. Once you're in training, no more relaxation.
Good luck!

Yes, paper work is a slow process in the military, you will learn that as you do your time.
