I was wondering if there were any Marine Reserve Bases in Massachusetts. I heard one of my friends say he has Marine buddies that train here. I know there aren't any bases here that train active personnel but what about reservists? If so, what MOS would you have to be?

If a military psychiatrist first diagnoses you with bipolar, and you were in the DENIAL stage, and said that you don't have bipolar. And switches your diagnosis to severe depression instead, but then knowing 3 years later you really did have bipolar, does that mean that the military is to blame for not treating you correctly?

I want to become a male nurse when I become older. Right now im a Jr in high school. I heard somewhere that if I join the marines I would go through 6 weeks of training then I would stay on base and go to school to become a nurse. Is this correct? How long would I be there for school for? Also would I need to go to college after the marines? I would like to get as much schooling as possible to become a nurse. Mabe to become a Dr. in nursesing ( i dont even know if there is such thing)Thanks.

The War in Iraq and the War on Terror are unique compared to all of the other wars fought by America in that Congress is voting on the next course of action, in this case troop withdraws. Can America be successful with a vote on a course of action, or does the Senate need to step aside and allow the military to do the job without Senate approval? This is not a question of whether we should be there or not, but rather who should be running the war.

Also do you feel that it is a good move to pull the troops out with the level of violence in Iraq being so high? Also do you feel that since it's not American's who are trying to kill each other so why should we even be fighting for the Iraqi people?

"Osama bin Laden has released another new video. See, that shows how dumb this guy is. He releases it the same week as 'Harry Potter.' ... On this latest tape, bin Laden says, 'a happy man is one who dies for his religion.' Do you ever notice the one who is giving the advice is never the one blowing himself up?"

what you think!

i hear from all the liberals that our soldiers are monsters, killing innocent women and children. i know this is not true(on a large scale). they also seem to undermine all the horrific thing the terrorists do to our soldiers and civilians(torture, beheadings, crashing planes into buildings, etc.) and their own ppl. why the **** cant the world just STFU and let us do our job?

That is, when a sniper has to spend days creeping up to where he will eventually be using his rifle, how does he relieve himself (as in use the toilet) when he cannot get up or move in any normal way because it would reveal his position? Does a sniper use diapers or some other technique? Does he fast or change his diet prior to such a mission requiring days of creeping along the ground on his belly? This sort of information never seems to be mentioned in stories about military snipers. Thank you.

Daughter married a Marine by JP last month so after his schooling ends,Aug 9, they could live together. We are still going to have a wedding, Aug 19. I'm about to pay for the venue but I'm afraid since they are already married the Marines won't let him come home and instead send him directly to his duty station, 29 Palms and won't let him leave.
