Daughter married a Marine by JP last month so after his schooling ends,Aug 9, they could live together. We are still going to have a wedding, Aug 19. I'm about to pay for the venue but I'm afraid since they are already married the Marines won't let him come home and instead send him directly to his duty station, 29 Palms and won't let him leave.

get a military clause. there are NUMEROUS reasons why he would be denied leave, and none of them have to do with the fact that he is married.

also, even though typically they are granted up to 30 days before reporting to their Duty station, his orders might read that he must report there sooner.

If he has the leave on the books, they will elt him take leave between his school and duty station. Even if he doesn't he can probably go in the hole because he has plenty of time to earn the leave back. Almost everyone takes leave between school and duty stations, or just between duty stations. I don't think you have to worry.

If he has leave on the books and puts in his request, he should be able to get leave. Being married or not doesn't determine if leave is granted.

Rebecca! They are already married! save your money or give it to them as a wedding present! They'll need the money to set-up household!
