I vaguely remember attacking Cuba, from what I recall it didn't turn out too well...

I would assume it's the same reason we don't attack Venezuela or Saudi Arabia, we're not after oil

Part of conditions of the Cuban Missile Crises we agreed not to ever invade Cuba. So we sort of let them wither on the vine with the downfall of the Soviet Union.

Are you sure about the oil? Never heard about that before.

because we are fine for resources. bush is only in iraq so he can pay back the oil companies for voting for him. Keep gas prices high, start a war, search for oil. leave a base at the end so we can imperialize the country. its perfect strategy. too bad its in the mind of an idiot. we could have easily taken that country's resources, and completely imperialized that country 2 years ago. if we didnt have idiots trying to come with strategies.

Because their oil is in and nearby coral reefs. Florida's tourism industry is far more valuable than the heavy crude oil located there and it doesent want drilling near its pristine beaches.

because we arn't in Iraq for oil, it's just a conspiracy theory, if we were their to take oil we would occupy Iraq and make it the 51st state.
