I remember a banner stating "mission accomplished". It seems like George keeps changing the reason for being there. In my mind we already won the war when we knocked Sodamed Insane out of power. I wish that we had Guiliani in office right now. I cannot believe that I voted for Bush! Just call me a fool!

I'm interested in hearing from our military on this one...

How do military people view non-military people (such as myself) who spoke out against this Iraq war - from the very beginning - because we feel it is not the duty of the United States of America to engage in "nation building", nor worthy of their sacrifice to send our troops into a foreign land with an unclear and constantly shifting strategy?

After reading a great deal about this war, I have come to the conclusion (only my opinion) that our troops ARE tactically superior in the field, but that the "big picture" strategy has been missing since the beginning of the war...and it may be too late to win over the Iraqi people, rendering our efforts and expenditures useless.

Well, my feet happen to be very flat, but I am seriously considering joining the Army soon (my last year of High School). However, it is not he type of flat feet were you get pain when you walk, it is the other kind (I forget the term for it however).

So, my flat feet does not impede my physical potential. Just wondering, as I seriously have to consider it.

Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office refused to confirm or deny reports on Thursday that Israel had allowed the delivery of up to 3,000 rifles and hundreds of thousands of bullets to the West Bank town of Jericho on Thursday.

Israel, the U.S. and its Quartet partners (the European Union, Russia, and the United Nations) as well as Egypt and Jordan are working to bolster Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah faction on the West Bank following the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip last month.

And how long has the US military been fighting in Iraq? I think it's been a little over 6 years?

Is it because they aren't trained well enough in guerrilla warfare/counter insurgency? And if it's not that then what is it?
