Symptomatic pes planus or a history of pes planus which has been treated with orthotic devices is disqualifying for enlistment or appointmet in the armed forces.
BTW, we don't have "boys" in the Army or the Marines. They are all men!

Little Marine??? Wow you dont know many Marines do you? There is no need to offend people.
You have to be in the Navy by the way to become a Navy seal, so you have to go through Navy Boot camp. And if you didnt know Marines are a department of the Navy smartass.

Flat Feet doesnt disqualify you for anything in the Military any more.

Regardless of how you insulted a lot of very prideful men :) I've heard that people with flat foot are now accepted into some branches. As far as a Navy seal? No clue but I doubt it since they need you to be top of the line (I could be wrong, Air Force just relaxed its policy on vision correction and now allows pilots to fly who have had la-sic surgery). There are other special forces out there you might want to look into in other branches.
And just a little advice, next time you post a question try not to insult the people who have seen their best friends die for your freedom.

How do I know if it's true you have flat feet? Give it up. Only a weinnie asks questions like this. A real man capable of being a SEAL would enlist and make them take you by proving yourself.

I don't think I've ever seen a "little Marine"... Is that like a miniature, to scale, figurine or something?

It depends on whether or not it effects your performance or not...

frankly..after reading all your posts..the closest thing to being a seal for you is to develop a taste for herring, kid...stay with burger king
