What % of what we contracted for did we get for what % of the money? A basic construction question.
What would happen in this country if we were without basic infrastructure, our children were being shot in the streets, normal life was disrupted, and most people were unemployed?
I think we won the military war when we entered Baghdad and overthrew Saddam. Remember the Iraquis celebrating in the streets?
Are our people fighting and dying over there at least partially because we did not fulfill our promise to reconstruct the country? How much were we defrauded by the reconstruction effort? Aren't the pres. and vice pres culpable? (They are the senior executives admistrating the budget and the buck stops where?). Should we sue to get our money back? Then use it for its originally intended purpose?

It doesn't matter whether it is a service or dress uniform. Also whether or not it is authentic or replica.

I'd like to know what they check for in the physical exam, since I am considering enlistment. There are two major things I'm concerned about, and two more that I'm not so concerned about.

I received surgery for crossed eyes when I was nine years old. I don't have as many problems now, and my vision is correctible to 20/20 with a special prescription lens.

I also have eczema on my left leg and the back of my neck that I've been keeping under control.

There's also my two chipped front teeth and a 1.5-inch scar on my forehead, both from childhood injuries. I don't have any difficulties, but they'll definitely see that.

Otherwise, I'm fine. I'm of average weight for my height, have no serious health problems and have good physical and mental strength and endurance.

troops fighting in Iraq. Please keep in mind that they aren't the ones who chose to fight there. I am not asking whether or not you support the war, I am asking whether or not you support our troops and why. ♥♥

What the hell is my country doing? He was shot execution style and it was covered up. Even his clothes and diary were destroyed. Is the government in the middle of a coverup?

Although I do mourn and honor the death of any fallen soldier but in the case Pat Tillman was more of a hot dog and a very ignorrant one at that for leaving behind a multi-million dollar football career and get involved in something that he had very little or mostly no knowledge or experience of but that is his misfortune that unfortunately he will not live to regret.
It is one thing to go thru basic training or boot camp and learn the does & don'ts but actually living, life as an American soldier 24/7 is a whole different ballgame.
Speaking of ballgames,I blame the media for making such a big deal out of Tillman's death and it really urks me because out of all of the men & women in our military who served, gave life & limb and has died for this country why is Tillman's death the only one that is so damn worthy of recognition above all other fallen heros?
This Tillman's death is just like the Barry Bonds story covered by the media where Barry Bonds is being put above his team mates

I have heard that in the USAF your hair has to be one color.
My hair is black on bottom and blond on top.
Will they make me dye it before basic training?

Monday morning quarterbacks and conspiratists continually accuse the US military of being complacent and derelict in preventing Friendly Fire Incidents.

In my latest article, "The Fog of War" I take you on a realistic but hypothetical mission in Afghanistan. Will you make the right call? Can you decide in the split second whether to kill an enemy about to kill you or your teammates?

Can you choose correctly and quickly enough to kill the enemy and spare your colleagues?

No politics. Just the groundtruth from a combat veteran that has been to both fronts in the War on Terror, backed up with independent research and historical study.

After your enlistment, did you consider or were you asked to join the American Legion and/or Veterans of Foreign Wars. Both are fine organizations with few "new" members;I'm wondering why the new veteran's aren't joining.

FYI: I'm a member of both.

2. Does anyone know the regulations/restrictions of fraternization between a person with an NROTC scholarship in college and enlisted persons (E-1 -- E-3, and E-4 -- E-9) as WELL AS a person in NROTC in college and officers???

Thanks!

I told my recruiter I have never been on medication. But I have taken anti-depressants for a few months nearly a year and a half ago. I also went to the hospital twice to receive stitches for cuts on my thigh and on my wrist. I used to be a cutter. I have noticable scars on my thighs and my left wrist. Will the Airforce still find out and will I be disqualified? I am rather embarassed about the whole situation, it was a period in my life I have chose to forget, I am however 100% better now. I get different answers from different people....yes be honest with him, you'll get a waiver, etc. etc....or No, pretend like it never happened, they will never find out. I am very confused about the situation and do not which action to take. Any sincere honest advice please?

Hey, I am confused about a dirty bomb that a terorist organization would employ in a city. Would it have the same effect as Hiroshima, with a huge mushroom cloud and a devastating blast radius and radiation, or would it just be a smaller explosion that spreads the toxins or whatever is put in the bomb??

There is a high demand for Interpretal Cryptology, so there is a hefty sign-on bonus. They also get Top Secret clearance and have an extra year or so to learn an extra language, I'll probably go for Chinese. I have had interest in both though. I've always wanted to be in Cryptology, but I've also always liked and worked with computers also. Any input from anyone in these two fields?
