Military - July 2007

Bush hasn't killed anyone, as for Hitler he killed millions! I know Bush isn't our GREATEST president, but the only thing Hitler did that was good, was bring long lost friends (countries) back together to fight for what we all (well most) believed what was right! Hitler harmed and murdered sooo many! Who has Bush killed? Our soldiers CHOSE to join the military whatever branch it may have been. The Jews and God knows how many others Hitler killed did NOT decide to die. They died out of Hitlers insane decision. So why, why decide to compare someone who only follows God's (or what he thinks God would want) orders to someone who was so insane and cowardly? Hiltler killed himself to keep from getting into the MAJOR trouble he would have been in when the authorities caught up to him! Atleast our president isn't a pussy, Unlike Adolf!
So, next time you want to compare Hitler to someone try someone who is in his class. SATAN!
Now,DO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY HAVE IN COMMON. Because it is beyond me.

my nephew. My brother-in-law was in the army,and he and my sister lived abroad. One morning he and three of his army pals stole a jeep, and headed into the desert with plenty of booze. The following evening the
MP's found them and brought them back. My nephew aged 4 thought this was great and was singing a song to anyone who would listen about his daddy being locked up in the calabush, I thought the army called it the glass house.

I know that you have to live off-base and you get more if you have dependants. But are there any other requirements to recieve BAH? And how do they determine if you get it?

Also how did they win the war?
we had more soldiers, more weapons, more support, and more armored vehicles.
Why did our generals set zones where it disabled us to cross over?
If we didnt have so many traightors we would have won!
How come no one ever tells you how the tutsie rebels commited there own war crimes?

Why do most people see the Hutu government as a bad one?
they would have dine the same thing if they were attacked.
Those tutsies in our country were spies and helping the rebels!

Have any of you seen the movie..... i think "Kill Point" where a bunch of ex-military guys go out to rob a bank......

Well in that movie, the robber gave a speech about the war....

It included very nice thoughts, that i agreed with, and some statements that i liked. These included:

-he asked why the government didn't issue body armor to everyone in the army, because the government deemed it "not necessary"

-He made a statement that..... He wanted every person who voted for us to go to war with Iraq to GO TO WAR with iraq.

he mentioned alot of things that i dont remember.... but i believe that the people in the army should decide whats necessary, and what should be done, not the people sitting at home for moral support (no offense to x-army or army families)

or the government, when half of them have never been to Iraq.

I am speaking from experience. My deceased husband served two tours in Vietnam and Korea. He came home and suffered years later with alcoholism and PTSD. Sure he was awarded VA benefits. But his disability rating was only 10%. He was diagnosed with heart problems. Than he died of three types of cancer. What I mean here is they are serving our country. They take the challenge of lesser pay and their families suffer lesser income. Why can't the government reward them better and pay them better for their service. I have an friend who was an Navy part-time duty for almost 30 years. She will only get half a pay check. What gratitude do we give our honorable veterans when they return ?

I truly trust the Pentagon military leaders to do their job, but our Senators have disappointed me at times. Have we ever not trusted our military to be the best? I haven't. Of course I'm talking about pulling out troops, adding troops and maintaining troops in Iraq. Have you ever thought our military would not know how to pull out troops?

This was FOOLISH and dangerous for military personnel.
The serial number was harmless, not connected to civilian info/data. The enemy gained little from beating name, rank, serial number out of you.
Only a numbskull liberal, military hater would not see that!

It has come to my attention that the parents of my daughter's friend are not actually married. While I have no issue with it personally, they are currently living in base housing. They do have a child together , and both have children from previous relationships in the home. I have found out, however, that the husband is still married to his first wife. The woman of the house and her daughter are living on base, both without military ID's and his command seems to know. Normally I would not mind, but housing on this base is at a premium and I know many families struggling to live on the economy in one of the most exepensive areas of the country. Should I alert the base housing office to the situation or leave well enough alone?
