Bush hasn't killed anyone, as for Hitler he killed millions! I know Bush isn't our GREATEST president, but the only thing Hitler did that was good, was bring long lost friends (countries) back together to fight for what we all (well most) believed what was right! Hitler harmed and murdered sooo many! Who has Bush killed? Our soldiers CHOSE to join the military whatever branch it may have been. The Jews and God knows how many others Hitler killed did NOT decide to die. They died out of Hitlers insane decision. So why, why decide to compare someone who only follows God's (or what he thinks God would want) orders to someone who was so insane and cowardly? Hiltler killed himself to keep from getting into the MAJOR trouble he would have been in when the authorities caught up to him! Atleast our president isn't a pussy, Unlike Adolf!
So, next time you want to compare Hitler to someone try someone who is in his class. SATAN!
Now,DO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY HAVE IN COMMON. Because it is beyond me.

I realize people have been killed in Iraq and all over that country, but also you have to realize that the majority are threats to our soldiers, you know the ones that STILL follow Saddam and Bin Ladens sadistic ways. I guess you are wrong. It is so bad over there (straight from a Soldier) that they even use the children to threaten the soldiers. Sounds a lot like Viet Nam to me!

Because most people don't know a lot about Hitler or the Nazi regime or the nature of fascism. I have problems with Bush, too. A lot of problems. But he's not Hitler. They try to compare Bush to Hitler because everyone agrees that Hitler is one of the worst individuals who has ever lived. So, if they can convince others that Bush and Hitler even have a few similarities, then they figure that everyone will realize Bush is bad for the same reasons that Hitler was bad. That's pretty sad.

Because they don't have a damned idea about Hitler, the NSDAP or World War Two. It's a knee-jerk reaction and a convenient "mantra". In many cases it's not their fault because they have been exposed to teachers who didn't know one damned thing either. In another answer section I came across a question from a student who was taught that Lenin and the Bolsheviks overthrew the Czar, even though the Czar abdicated and Alexander Kerensky's provisional republic government was the one which was overthrown.
Hell, most of the critics of President Bush's Iraq policy don't even know the reasons that military force was authorized against Iraq. That's the other "mantra": "WMDs". Heaven forbid they should ever read a copy of Public Law #107-243 and discover the half dozen reasons listed in that Congressional resolution.
My advice is to ignore them. They are the poor victims of ignorance, led to that pitiful state by a media corps who never studied the history of the Middle East, don't know one word of Arabic and have no in-depth knowledge of the Salafist Jihadist movement. And the politicians know of that ignorance and exploit it every day for the most crass reasons. The really sad part is that all of this is happening in the "information age".

Because there are a lot of people who are stupid and don't know what they are talking about. The idea that Bush is like Hitler is ludicrous....and it also belittles the suffering of the people who were tortured and the descendants of those who suffered at the hands of the most evil man to ever walk the face of the earth.

Nothing in common. Just that some people don;t like Bush. After Hitler died, some people claimed that he was not that bad after all. When GW dies, people may also think favorably of him. Dead people are always good people.

Oh, you're right. Bush isn't in Hitler's class - he's only killed 70,000 or so innocent civilians, as of late 2006. But of course, they don't count. After all, they're ONLY Iraqis. Mind you, that's the official reported number, which means it only takes the cities into account. Start looking at the whole country, and estimated death tolls are ten times that.
Of course, that doesn't count the ones who have been thrown into prison to be tortured and raped, the ones who are maimed for life, the ones whose livelihoods, homes and families have been destroyed...
...and none of THEM volunteered to be in a war zone either.

Bush is too dense to be compared to Hitler.
I think the only way they can make any comparasin is that Hitler, like Bush, illegally invaded and occupied (and continues to occupy) a foreign country for very dubious reasons.
That's the only thing that can be similar in regards to Bush and Hitler.
Karl Rove as Jospeh Goebbels would be a better match.
Wouldn't even know where to start with Cheney.
