Is it true that the Air Force offers guaranteed cross training for the first time only, after three years of joining?


If so How long does it take to change jobs

Yes, if you are a first term airman then you may cross train at the end of your original enlistment. However, you must be cross training into a critical maned career field, not just any job in the AF.

You can change jobs if you want, but you have to be a first term airman.

The change is as long as the new job's tech school.

yes, and no. you cannot go from an undermanned field to an overmanned field for instance. same with Over to over. additionally, if your evals are marginal at best, they can opt to kick you out anyway.
