My husband is in the US army in Korea. It is possible I may be going to live with him this November and I may even be pregnant. My question is, if I have my child in Korea, will that affect his/her ability to be president one day?

I know that when the recruiter promises me a certain position/job (w/e it's called) in the Navy, it's mostly a bunch of B.S. I don't mean to bash recruiters but that's just how I feel it is. With that being said, do I have any say in what I'd be doing in the Navy as far as jobs are concerned, and what are my chances of doing what I want to do?

As General S. Patton put it,"No bastard has ever won a war by dying for his country,he won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country!"

Heros don't fall and die, they serve & protect

Seems this guy was drafted in the spring of 1986, when he turned 18. By early 1987, he was fighting in Afghanistan. He said most days there was little or no fighting. Then battles would flare up and maybe 50 of them & 50 of the muslims died. It was often a mutual exchange with equal numbers of both sides getting killed.
In late 1988, when the russians agreed to withdraw, the battles became more intense for the final year, a lesson for libs who want to cut and run now, our boys will be in more harm than they are now!
At the end, it seems a lot of bolsheviks got killed thanks to superior American weapons given to the muslims. Most of these weapons have been used up. Used to kill commies, not a bad thing!
No doubt russia got whooped and left in humiliation. Dem bolsheviks want the same thing!
I tell this commie the same thing will not happen to the USA because God is on our side and Bush is a strong leader! He's been in the USA since the 1990's. Isn't it time for this commie to go home?

Sorry if this sounds a bit naive, but I believe, and I may be wrong that Marines need to buy their dress blues. I would like to gift a few of them by paying for them. The Marines in question have joined from families that are a bit poor and they are trying to support them. I would like to ease this a bit. I would like to do this anonymously but not quite sure how to? Sorry if this is silly but I would like to contribute. Is there a way.
Thank you.

Hello, this is my third intallment to my question series. Go to my profile and read "Help the Helicopters Are Closing In" and "The Never Ending Question Part 2" ( As well as best answer and add info) for an update. Only Raven has add info for part 2, sorry.

Okay, I need serious help. The helicopters locked on to the Rambo Penguin holding Britney and I! They started to circle him, and he went wild! The 35 foot penguin ran back to the Empire State Building, and started to climb! Basically, he is now at the top, still holding us, and the helicopters are firing at him like mad! I'll leave you to guess what movie this sounds like. Anyway, I don't know what to do. I still have my sniper, though I can't think of the use it could serve right now. Please help! I need a plan! Some way to get out of this, and possibly saving the Rambo Penguin in the process. Britney, as you know, I would prefer gone. Think of a way for me!

Well, I am a huge fan! I'm wondering if I should join or not in a few years as I am thinking on other plans, and my dad won't have it, since he was in the vietnam war.
Anyway, I was wondering, what is the Marines like compared to other military branches?
A lot of people have told me its one of the most intense training out of all of them, and is it true that the Marines are trained to kill, train and kill?

And also, i was wondering if The Marines is anything like the movie Jarhead?
Thanks so much!
Go Marines! =]

Taliban militants have used a heat-seeking surface-to-air missile to attack a Western aircraft over Afghanistan for the first time.

The attack with a weapon believed to have been smuggled across the border with Iran represents a worrying increase in the capability of the militants which Western commanders had long feared.

Ok im leaving for the Army soon and I have had a lot of mentors that have been preparing me in every way possible. I keep hearing how lots of women in the Army are scandolous about sleeping with higher ranking men to move up on rank, that a lot of NCO's will try to make their move on you and tempt you to sleep with them and they can get you promoted faster or something like that........whats up with that? I am a very strong minded woman and I would hate to deal with this sort of problem and have it hold me back from accomplishing what I've set out to do.....I mean I know how to deal with it but will it affect me as far as my professional career in the Army goes?
