CAn i be disqualified from the Army for having a horrible driving record? I have a DUI, I have various tickets, 1 speeding ticket, and my license has been suspended a few times. I am afraid that the Army might look into this and reject me.

MAKE sure you tell them first, let them know this is in the past blah blah, don't let them find out for them selves, it looks even worse..........like you are trying to hide it all and hope they will not find out.......so tell them first and hope for the best.

regards

The Army does look into these things. They will ask for everything that you have ever done, will also do police checks where you have lived for the past several years. A person who has been convicted of a DUI can still enter the military (as of 2004) but would need a waiver approved. Depending on your other tickets costs would determine if they were just parking tickets or felony charges. There is a difference.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNT8C

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Yes the check your driving records. However a bad driving record alone will not disqualify you from joining. You just may not be able to drive military vehicles for a while due to your civilian record. If you currently have a valid driver's license though you most likely won't have a problem.

They will look at your record but just to see if you have any outstanding fines out there that must be paid before you go to BT it would benefit you if you have a licence before you go to AIT depending on what job you take This will in no way stop you from signing on the line good luck 19 1/2 yrs army here

You have to declare this stuff. The recruiters will give you the chance before they take you to MEPS.

If you don't declare it, and they find it (they will), then you won't be eligible.

With this stuff, that's on record, it's best to be honest with the recruiters, and then they can determine the best course of action. If you have paid your dues for your infractions, and have spent a good amount of time on the right side of the law, chances are that your past won't haunt you.

You may not be disqualified, but it does make your character look suspect. And it will probably disqualify you from certain MOS's like 88M or even 63B.
So YES, they certainly do look at your driving records, criminal records, etc.

They can go so far as to bar you from driving on post as well....seen that happen a time or two.

Every coming day there seems to be news of horrible crimes being committed to innocent people. We want you to know who these offenders are, some are living among you without your knowledge. eVerify, a criminal background search tool, will provide you that closure.

Instantly run searches and gather information about the people you interact with on a daily basis or people who live around you. You will be shocked with what you find out. The real question is, can you handle the truth?
