I am going to be PCSing in March from Germany. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the military will fly us into a location other than our base. I heard some say they will, and then you just have to pay to get from the location they fly you, to the base. Some say though that they will only fly you into your duty station. Does anyone know anything on this?

My fiance' is in Parris Island and has been since May 14th. He found out his grandmother [his legal guardian before he turned 19] has a rare form of lung cancer shortly after arriving, and his grandfather [also his guardian.. they are considered legally his parents] now is having to have heart surgery to have a pacemaker put in and no one will be able to care for his grandmother in case anything happens to his grandfather. His grandfather informed me about the Hardship discharge and I've sent him the details on it. I'm pretty positive he'll recieve this due to the circumstances, but does anyone know about how long this takes to process once he informs his SDI?

seems to be enormous chemicals dropped by chemtrails in the area................lots of forgetfulness and sleeping by the residents. Also, thousands of afro-americans being shipped in from Chicago (auspices of Section 8). Taking tankers to Port Author, Texas (predominately afro-american area). Any coincidences?

I am highly doubtful but just wondering.....if finance has consistently been shortchanging me since I PCSed to my new unit and I have consistently been resubmitting paperwork to get it fixed and collect my backpay and they just keep 'misplacing my paperwork,' could this be a breach of contract? I'm getting rather tired of showing up to work day after day and dealing with all the bullshit and doing my end while the army keeps screwing me on my pay. The main issue is the fact that I'm supposed to be receiving seperate rations since our DFAC is shut down because the unit is deployed. I'm getting kinda pissed, this isn't the first time either. My pay was getting completely jacked up while I was in Iraq and it was a nightmare getting it fixed and collecting backpay. I've been overpaid before and they wasted no time in fixing that and taking their money back. I'm pissed...

The military is something I've always wanted to experience. However coming out of high school I was talked out of joining by my parents and went to college. I'm graduating at the end of this year and after growing up some realize I need to join while I still can. I'll be 22, married and with no kids. I do have student loans (Stafford) and I'm hoping the military will pay them back. Has anyone been through the loan repayment process? Did everything run smoothly? Joining is something I look forward to but there is no way I could support my family with a student loan payment. Thank you and I appreciate any extra advice.

Let's say for a moment that I accept all the aspects of the "inside job" theory (which I don't) such as:

1. Controlled demolitions.
2. Remote controlled planes.
3. NORAD turning a blind eye.

If the so called "official" story was contrived, why would they then put the blame on a group of terrorists with the vast majority of them coming from Saudi Arabia?

Think about it, that's the LAST country we want to generate any friction with, and it's been that way for over half a century.

If the "blame" was going to be tagged on "innocent" people, wouldn't it have made a hell of a lot more sence to have these terrorists come from Iraq, Iran, or another country that America had a grudge with ?????

We always dance on eggshells with Saudi-Arabia, we don't need to falsely accuse them of having most of the 9-11 hijackers coming from their country.

Unless of course that's exactly what happened.

Does anyone have original ideas on how to make this world weapons free? Starting with the big weapons of mass destruction? I have tried petitioning, demonstrating, asking questions to my parliament and hammering on them. What do you think works best?

Everyone seems ready to judge our troops. Here's your chance to Convict, Acquit, or order more Investigations in a very real case that did occur.
I give you all the details that I know. You take that into account and register your judgement.

While you're there, go to the previous article "The Fog of War" on a typical but hypothetical mission and make the split second decision of life or death that will save your teammates lives.

If you can't face the reality in print, you certainly shouldn't go there and most definitely have no basis to judge.

Read on and you'll learn about our enemy, our troops and what is REALLY going on.

No politics. Just the groundtruth from a combat veteran that has been to both Fronts in the War on Terror, backed up by independent research and a study of history.

I'm in a "Military" relationship, which means there's long periods of time that I don't see my Love...

So many people automatically assume that I'm going to cheat. They act like I'm weird, because I don't think about it...and find it repulsive that others do.

Is it really that inconceivable for someone to wait for the one they love?

To be faithful both emotionally and physically?

Also, why is it that more Military men assume that women cheat more so, than them?

My honey told me that it's more common for the wives/girlfriends to cheat, than the men.

I don't see how this is. It's probably very lopsided, since he hears horror stories from other guys.

And, I hear stories about both genders cheating. Military men and their wives.

I just don't see how people are so lost and unable to love someone enough to never consider unfaithfulness.

Any thoughts on this matter?

ok I know that we are a free country and nobody forces the soldiers to enlist and that theres soldiers that really love their job and believe on what they are doing but I think (my opinion)that most soldiers dont want to be there and do not agree with this war, yes they know theyr job and that they could die, but they enlisted to fight for fair wars against terrorism and things like that u know like back then wwII a fair war against real soldiers not against hiden ieds and just because the president is so stuburn and wants to do his own thing because he can, and alot of soldiers enlist because there is no choice, I met a chick once that she enlisted because she was homeless and had nobody, so back to my cuestion would bush let his kids enlist? I know alot of people are going to say that is their choice but thats not even an option they woudl never enlist because they are rich they dont need money to support a family etc, I think they should be a draft and they should get sent, see what

Private Beauchamp recounted some grotesque incidents in his columns, including his own mocking of a woman disfigured by the war and accounts of a soldier who took joy in running over a dog in a Bradley fighting vehicle and another who found the top of a child’s skull and wore it on his head as a joke.

TV news helicopters collide, killing 4 - Yahoo News
By JACQUES BILLEAUD, Associated Press Writer

Two news helicopters covering a police chase on live television collided and crashed to the ground Friday, killing all four people on board in a plunge that viewers saw as a jumble of spinning, broken images.
Both helicopters went down in a park in central Phoenix and caught fire. No one on the ground was hurt.

TV viewers did not actually witness the accident because cameras aboard both aircraft were pointed at the ground. But they saw video from one of the helicopters break up and begin to spin before the station abruptly switched to the studio.

Television station KNXV reported that it operated one of the choppers. The other was from KTVK. A pilot and photographer aboard each chopper were killed.

American forces attacked Iraq along with Britain and Australian armies to find out the weapons of mass destruction as they put it. United nations organisation did not authorise this invasion,in fact Bush vetoed the negation and proceeded with the attack.
As a result of the attack thousands of Iraqis have been killed and many more are dying everyday. The weapons of mass destruction have not been unearthed. The very premise for attacking a foregion country has failed. If Saddam can be hanged for killing his own people for political survival, why Bush and Blair should not be tried and hanged for invading Iraq and killing millions and that too against world opinion.Should they not be tried in an international court of law and given the same punishment.
This is a question which needs answers and actions at the international level to prevent recurrence. For example, tomorrow if Kashmir issue is not resolved to Americas wishes it may foolishly launch a misadventur here and kill thousands.

I believe that most of the troop casualities are from roadside bombs, and them riding in vehicles not well enough armored, and other gear that not cushion them well enough from the explosions..

I don't understand why technology cannot detect the explosive devices before the vehicles get close enough to be harmed.

The British protect the Royal family train by having a bomb detection train going ahead of the people train ... why can't convoys of US troops have a robot truck go ahead of the real occupant trucks to be the target for the road side explosives.

The robot truck would be an unmanned vehicle driven by radio control by some human in a vehiile further back in the convoy, and the robot rruck would be supplied with bomb detection gear, sniff out explosives, so the convoy can stop before the humans get close.

The equipment would need to be easy to make another truck the robot in front, after first blown up.
