ROTFLMAO! The thing is, the US Military IS a gang. Look up the Webster's dictionary of the word gang and you will see that it is true. Not that people in the military own dictionaries since they never make it into college. And yes they all pretty much have the same values, why not stick together?
Who cares if people who support the war don't vote Democrat, people who are Christians don't vote Republican. Fair trade.

Well first off theres really no way for them to get to a tank without someone noticing. All the motor pools that house fancy stuff like tanks are monitored day and night. Also gang members wont bring in their own guns. They sometimes use the military's. There is a gang problem in the military and sometimes there is no way of telling if the person is a gang member or not when they enlist. So, No I dont think gang members should be let in, but they are anyways.

Its obvious from your question you have no idea what the military is all about.
If and when a member of the military has to use his weapon it is for a good reason.
The military are answerable for their actions just the same as anyother person, to equate them to some street gang is very insulting, its the US military through there sacrifice that have made it possible for you to sit at your computer and freely post such insults.
For your sake I hope you dont open your big mouth in front of a veteran or a member of the American military or you will be in a serious world of hurt.
With nobody to blame but yourself.

Thanks for the 2 points.
OK, for the sake of argument, let's assume this is a real question.
First, the military won't accept someone who has a felonious past. (Could that be the reason you were denied?)
Second, you are not allowed to use your own firearms on duty; only those arms issued to you.
Third, I've never met a gang-banger who wanted to be dressed like everybody else.
And finally, by the time the military gets done with them, I highly doubt they would be in any mood to do a "drive-by" in a tank or anything else. Most likely, they would be too busy defending this country's interests for idiots like you.
Please, keep asking stupid questions. I need more points.

Your question though facetious, has a gleam of an idea. However gang-bangers do enter the military, and learn how to effectively kill people. Surprisingly many make a career of the military.

Not only gang members should be sent to war but all convicts as well that are serving a life sentance (expessially for murder). I think jails should be like boot camps where they train the convicts, then send em to the military. I mean they are just sitting there waiting to die, doing nothing productive at all. If murders want to kill people, send them over there instead of having them use our tax dollars to sit in a jail.

Haha I see your point. There ARE gang members in the military unfortunately. They get into the Special Forces to learn all kinds of neat ways to kill their fellow human being then get out and take their new talents to the streets. Nice, huh? And people wonder why I want open season on gang bangers. No limit.

Jackrabbit moves and eyecandy tatoos that disrupt real communications between oh so valued fellow troops. They have their own agenda and don't hesitate to make their own deals. Their plan is to make sure you don't get control of the situation. It is easier to make a move than it is to consider your move.

military kinda like a gang.
identifiable by clothing...lingo etc.
chain of command.
follow's orders.
A while back...somewhere...
(I may research and add link to details after I wake up)
I read that Gang members tend to make good soldiers....
If potential recruit is gang member and has no criminal record that disqualifies him for service.....
then should not be treated differently than any other recruit.
THE MILITARY IS A GOOD VEHICLE FOR PEOPLE TO LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND.
There is no rule that when you take leave you have to go home.
And that applies to when discharged also.
Military might be good for them.
Thousands and thousands and thousands of servicemembers have escaped crappy pasts and environments by entering MILITARY.
