Jerky for sure its a must and trail mix is something you can snack on and will give you some good energy. That's all i eat in the field MREs made me sick so those long field problems got expensive.

Well DZ gee like a hmmm gee anything i can get in my gear with out gettin caught but Red licorice, jerky and oh boy Man what i would do for ravioli. Although the old c's ham and eggs weren't bad as long as it was dark and your nose was pluggend up. But Friut cocktail is excellent specially if it is hot where your at. Man that makes me remember way to far back. LOL JIM K first thanks for your service but in addition hmmmm hersey bars reminds me of John Wayne Bars YEAK HEHEHEHEHEHE

LOL that's hilarious...pogey bait..an old school word that is still commonly used..my husband takes cans of tuna and his favorite candies..Smarties and Gobstoppers...

Beef jerky is always a good choice. Nothing chocalate, it will melt. Pringles chips are good because of the can they come in, they dont get crushed easily. I also like summer sausage, but you have to keep it in a plastic bag or it gets filthy.
