If we got nuked, the Brits would be there for us. That is how allies do things. The same would be true of the US if a British city got nuked. If the weapon could be traced to Iran, then Iranian cities would soon be slag. US policy is to respond in kind to any attack. A nuclear attack gets a nuclear response.
If Israel got nuked, they have their own nukes to respond with. We would probably send them aid for the survivors and specialists to assist in the recovery as would the Brits.

Wouldnt need them, if a Iranian Nuke went off in the USA, Iran would cease to be habitable for the next 700 years whats Farsi for "hey whats tha...."
If an Israeli city, hard to say Israel has the capability to retaliate and would
either way, the British wouldnt be needed(Not a slight on them, just the way it is)

Good question, my bet is that we won't know for sure but will retaliate anyway against Iran,..... but that's just my opinion
