Depends a lot on whether you want to use one for a particular occasion, say a play or a costume party, etc., or if you want to buy one. If looking to buy, try local antique shops--even if they don't have one they'd have some good ideas on where to look. If looking to borrow or rent, etc., try the local historical society or veterans' organization (VFW, American Legion, etc.).

you can check out the military surplus stores around your area or you can go to the amvets or vfw to see if there are any members that may know where you can get one from or they may have one to sell you or give you one.....if you talk to these vets they will tell you if it is a fake or authentic...good luck in your search
