I think I would shoot a little higher. Most of what you did - if I understand the job right was arrange things and keep the Chaplain on schedule - Yes?
Why not look into the personal assistant field. This type of executive scheduler position is usually well paying and a military bearing and background looks well.

Were you an NCO? Do you have a degree, or enough credits for at least an associates? You could become a manager or at least team leader at a number of businesses. The idea above of personal assistant isn't bad either.

What are your educational qualifications? Pls don't be afraid to talk to the senior NCOs. They might have good ideas. Please contact the VA. The VA is for all service people, not just combat veterens.
