What is in Ohio if you're joining the US Army Reserve in Hawaii? If that is where your BASIC and AIT will be, then no they will not pay to have anything shipped other than you and your suitcase.

nope. you will be stationed at a reserve unit in Hawai'i. If you choose a job that is NOT available at any Reserve unit in Hawai'i, you will be ENTIRELY responsible to get yourself to wherever you are assigned. at most you could qualify for billeting on your drill weekends.

and if you choose to move to Ohio, they will not pay to move your Household goods either, and you would have to request a transfer of billet.

Only if you are stationed in Ohio which, since you're reserve, I don't think you'll be stationed where you don't live.

Chech with a recruiter!
