I remember a banner stating "mission accomplished". It seems like George keeps changing the reason for being there. In my mind we already won the war when we knocked Sodamed Insane out of power. I wish that we had Guiliani in office right now. I cannot believe that I voted for Bush! Just call me a fool!

Well buddy, you need to study your military doctrine and listen to Bush's "mission accomplished" speech. The MTO, Major Theater Op, was complete...phase III. Now, phase IV is going on. Mission accomplished was to signify the end of major combat ops. Now we have to establish a govt and rebuild a country, like we did in Germany and Japan. You were not a fool.

It is called occupation and it is difficult to accomplish. Not only do the Shiites and Sunni's not want to back down for fear of the other, they also fear the foreigners.

It is just the beginning. It starts with Iraq, then to other Muslim countries. The idea here is to propagate democracy among Muslim countries so that liberal ideas will flourish, therefore tolerance. The main cause of terrorism is their ultra-conservative religion. If Bush will succeed, it will be the greatest achievement in this century. There is no terrorism, Bush obviously is responsible for 9/11 in order to spark a war match in the middle east, just learn from history. In 1933 Hitler burned the congress room of the Reichstag and blamed it on the Jews to start a war of hate against them in Germany. I blame him for every death there has been over in Iraq, my cousin was one of them. He now has my husband over there fighting for a senseless war that is not even worth fighting for anymore. My husbands tells me that they shout inthe street somtimes that they want the Americans to leave, but DUMBASS doesn't listen. They burn flags too and that should tell you something. He not only deployed a husband, but deployed a father too, we have a 10mth old daughter; he left when she was 4mths. Our daughter doesn't even know her father.
