Much of the old Soviet fleet is still controlled by the new nation of Russia -- some ships have been decommissioned and scrapped, some have been sold to other countries

Since the fall of the Soviet Union. most of their submarine fleet and carriers have been moored and neglected because Russia can't afford to preserve them and they have fallen into a deplorable state.

Their subs are still around, mostly in dry dock, they never really got making Aircraft carriers down and they didn't have anything good there. the rest of it's still going around underfunded or in mothballs.
