The troops need to stay in Iraq until we win- I don't care if it's another year, or another 10 years. We need to stay in Iraq until we kill all the terrorists.
Yet libs, with thier jimmy Carter spinelessness, want to give up and withdraw today. WHY????If we pull out of Iraq, the terrorists will attack us here at home. I have a theory THAT is why the liberals wasnt to withdraw troops from Iraq- They WANT America to be attacked- that way they can blame it on Pres Bush, and try to seize control of the White House. Liberals sicken me, they are driven only by the lust for power and greed...Why else would the libs want to turn chicken and give up this war before we win?

Just kill enough U.S. soldiers and then the U.S. Democrats will make the Americans retreat. This happened in Vietnam, this happened in Somalia, and it's about to happen again. Thanks to liberals, we will never win a war again. Our military will be seen as a joke.

Lets face it most in our adm. never sacrificed...let alone had anyone in their immediate families go to War. It seems even worse that many are directly profiteering from this war.

I "forgot" to mention that I had a criminal charge from 9 years ago, when I went to MEPS, now after I swore in, my background check came back with this charge. My recruiter is trying to get a waiver for me, for not mentioning this charge, which was a misdemeanor charge(theft under $300), what is the worst that could happen to me, in the case where my waiver is denied??

In reality, thousands of troops believe in what they are doing in Iraq. Democrats just want our military to fail in order to make Bush look bad. If our troops didn't want to be there, why are there still thousands of people joining our military every month?

I was eating my lunch, and two army recruiters came up to me. They wanted to give me their business cards, and I told them "No thank you, I have a job where I get to keep my life, thank you". I said it very politely, and they laughed at me. And then tried to give me their cards anyway. I wouldnt take them. I have a friend that just went back to Iraq for the second time, and he dosent think he is coming back. His family and fiancee have already made plans for him in case he dosent. I support our military, honestly, I do. But I just dont want to join because of the current situation in our government. So was I wrong in what I said? Opinions please?

phrase used in the business world and what it means is change can only come if ideas from sources outside of the company or industry is constantly being brought in.
Today we see Ventrue capital buying up companys that are either going broke or seem to have reached a peak in their earning potential. The companys stuck in their insular management thinks they are most effecient and a buyer seeing possabilitys buys , reorganizes, and within 5 yrs and no more than 7 they completly transform old entity into better form.
On many projects within an industry it is soemone new with fresh ideas or ideas he can incorproate from his past experiences that turn out to be most valued.
Companys get too stuck on their own self worth, feel threatened by insider, build empires within and thereby stifel attempts at change. The mess our military has made of Iraq, lack of quality leadership, and bureaucratic politics of Generals who know no better or keep quiet, job scared!
Time to reorganize?

I am thinking about joining the Army, I would like to know what are my chances of being sent to Iraq. I actually want to go and help out. Rather than being trained and then stationed here or elsewhere in a non combat situation(in Germany, Japan, South Korea for example), I want to be put in the middle of the action.

I would like to know (if you know how)what would best be my chances of being deployed to Iraq? Do i need to join a certain branch of military, a certain this and that and something else? I know that not everyone gets sent there. how does the military choose and decide who to sent and who not to?

please only geniune responses! thank you.

George W. Bush says it's a "noble cause." Fine. So where are they? The Bush clan is a big family. Do they too think it's a "noble cause"? Surely they could find their way to the nearest recruiting station. If they don't believe it's a "noble cause," why should we? If they do believe Iraq is a "noble cause," where are they?
