Lets face it most in our adm. never sacrificed...let alone had anyone in their immediate families go to War. It seems even worse that many are directly profiteering from this war.

When never should have invaded in the first place. I understand why we're in Afghanistan, but not Iraq. Personally, I would love to see the troops home now, but I am confused as to how that would affect those currently serving. I don't want them to feel as if their country doesn't support them, but I've heard conflicting opinions which is causing me to question my stance. On one hand, people say you can support the troops without supporting the war, but they're not there. On the other hand, I was told the only way to support the troops is to go over and fight yourself. Not all of us are able to do this, so I feel as if I will be judged for supporting the troops without actually going into battle. We need to find a way to resolve this conflict satisfactorily, so we can bring them home before anyone else has to die.

You mean, like the clinton going to canada during vietnam?

Knowing policies of the world, and knowing when military force is necessary, is not reliant on a prerequisite of being in the military. The higher ups in the military are responsible for designing the plans for wars, not necessarily diplomatic decisions. The politicians are responsible for deciding on what course of action should be taken.

Welcome to the real world!!! Sure it's a bad idea having an administration that has NO checks and balances lead us into war. We'll see now if the Democrats have the nerve to challenge Bush & Co. with this unjust war. Remember, anyone who was against this war was labeled as "unamerican" by this administration.

I don't think it is helpful to make generalizations and demeaning ones at that. If you have an argument to make why not just make it and save the insults.

I have not been a fan of the current administration but I can articulate why I am not.
