Im 17 years of age and I just talked to a Staff Sergeant and told him that I am 17 I have 4 kids 1 of which is my own the other 3 belong to my gf which is 29. He fully understands what is going on with me and he said that when May frame comes around to give him a call and he can work me in to the reserves. Im going to be a senior next year because im in home schooling so have said all of that what are my chances of actually getting in the Marines? This is a child hood goal for me since I can remember I have always wanted to be a Marine and im just wandering how can I study for my ASVAB test?

Situation...im in college with a 3.5 GPA and want to be a Nuke. I got accepted enlisted side, but I dont know whether I should wait and apply for BDCP (NUPOC) or go enlisted and shoot for STA or ROTC. Ive heard the E to O Officers have alot more respect, but at the end of the day..does it really matter? Definitely joining, just have to decide between Officer aand Enlisted Nuke!

We had enough of killed Iraqies because of The American Forces in Iraq, I cannot say that we were fine before that, nor I wouldn't.
If my question is important, please...leave it...cause you would get bothered R' of it.

How did our VA hospitals get in such terrible shape—and WHY did this happen?
Walter Reed Army Hospital, where investigators found rodent infested facilities with holes in the ceilings and paint peeling off the walls, is less than six miles from the White House. The extreme tax cuts at top income levels that this administration has pushed through congress have only have helped to create a situation where people at the top, who influence government policy, are almost entirely estranged from the middle class.

I am a senior in high school and I REALLY want to get out of my home town. I really want to join the Navy but do not know if i should go to college first. The only thing that scares me is if I will be able to finish nursing school while on active duty. I really would like to become an officer and attend that anesthesia school in the navy to become a CRNA. What should I do?

First, exactly who is the enemy in Iraq? Sunnis, Shiites, Al Qadi, Terrorists or all of the above?

And if even if the enemy existed, how can you operate when they look and act like the rest of the population?

All previous wars consisted of enemies that were in known geographic locations and they wore uniforms.

It comes down to this - war is obsolete, and the sooner we realize that, the less people are going to die.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are already being sued for war crimes under 18 USC 2441.
You can Google this information and see for yourself...the results are overwhelming.

Next we have lies of the Terror Attacks of 911. Bush Orchestrated this event so he could use it as a ‘Pretext for Military Intervention’ in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is not a new tactic for the U.S. Military... Google “Operation Northwoods” and have yourself a look.

The United Nations charter has a provision which was formulated by the United States after World War II. It says that from now on, no nation can use armed force without the permission of the U.N. Security Council. They can use force for self-defense, but a country can not use force in anticipation of self-defense. Regarding Iraq, the last Security Council resolution essentially said, “Look, send the weapons inspectors out to Iraq, have them come back and tell us what they've found -- then we'll figure it out from there.” The U.S. was impatient, and decided to invade Iraq -- which was all pre-arranged of course. So, the United States went to war, in violation of the charter. Making the war in Iraq an “illegal” war. Whether Congress agreed to it or not.

Even though military enlistment is a voluntary service.... since Bush is the ‘Commander in Chief’ and has directed and ordered our troops into an illegal situation under false pretenses...shouldn’t he be held responsible for the damage he has done?

I vote for him twice, but I'm getting sick and tired of a war that should have been won 2 years ago! This one helluva cherry picked war. I think Bush had his change and BLEW it. The longer this war goes on the more I think he IS just in it for his corporate buddies. See this story,
