I vote for him twice, but I'm getting sick and tired of a war that should have been won 2 years ago! This one helluva cherry picked war. I think Bush had his change and BLEW it. The longer this war goes on the more I think he IS just in it for his corporate buddies. See this story,

Bush and his "corporate cronies" is leftist propaganda.
The reason we are having such problems in Iraq is that the Bush team mismanaged the war from day one. They were overly optimistic about the fact Iraqi people would treat the Americans as liberators and would be delighted to see Saddam Hussein gone. It was true in Kurdistan and Basra but not true in Sunni regions. So too few troops were provided initially. Then the disbandment of the Iraqi army. Another mistake. Now you had an army of trained soldiers now unemployed and bitter toward the occupation.
Net result is rather than striking fear into Iran and Syria they have proved that Americans are not that great of a threat and the American people have no stomach for a long war no matter how low the casualties.
The American political system e.g. Democrats versus Republicans guarantees military failure.

I also voted for them both times, but I don't believe that this war is the same war. I think that we've tried to be too gentle with the Iraqis and it's created strife between the Sunni's and the Sheites. If you notice, the Kurds are doing spectacularly.

Now, with the surge and the crackdown in Sadr City, things are turning around so I believe that it's time to amp up the pressure even more.

As much as I hate to give them any credit, some Dems suggested sending a large number of troops and getting this thing finished. Maybe that's the ticket.

I still think a lot of the problems are bing imported from Iran & Syria for their own amusement.

When the US was founded, it took over 8 years to get our government working. I know that it's going on 4 years in Iraq but we destroyed a lot of infrastructure and that has to be rebuilt. Saddam maintained his power by crushing any opposition so maybe a taste of freedom has given them the idea that they can get away with all this crap.

Wow! You people just get dumber don't ya?

So now, four years after the fact, it is just dawning on you that we are not fighting the war to win the war. LMAO!
Did you really need Yahoo/A to solve that riddle for ya?

He was never going to authorize an all out war on them. You should have figured that out when he made the Marines retreat form Fullujah the 1st time they invaded...or maybe when we had Al Sadr and his army trapped in a Mosque but we let them leave because we didn 't want to piss off Bush's Muslim buddies in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Perhaps just perhaps, you should have gotten a clue, when we captured the entire Iraqi Army after the first months of the war but then he and Dummy Rumsfeld let them all go home, so that they could change uniforms and attack us again.

You must be STUPID...STUPID... STUPID for ever buying thems cookies. LOL.... ole George got em again...he hehe heeee!

i'm a republican and i voted for him in the last election (i had just turned 18) and between Kerry and Bush i might vote for him again but i too am sick of this. I have decided to vote democrat this next election provided that they have a decent candiate. I won't vote for Hillary. I was a huge Bush supporter and sorta still am, but the war is getting old. My hubby is getting sent which i shouldn't blame on Iraq, it's just his turn to go. If he weren't going to Iraq he'd be going to Ghan or Korea, but it's still hard not to blame it on Iraq. It's taking such a toll on the military and on it's families. We can only take so much.

I wish that the military didn't have it's hands tied. They could have gone in and done what needed to be done and possibly this would have been over with a long time ago. How do you fight a PC war? That is what they are supposed to do now. People were fighting against this war from the moment it began, making it impossible for the military to accomplish anything. I don't know anybody who wants a war, but we are there, let them do what they need to do so it can be over.

I am not getting tired of it. Admittedly after we got rid of saddam we didnt have a very good exit plan but then again we didnt think the region would collapse into civil war at that time. Hes not in it for the money he is already outragousely rich, he is trying to finish what his father started, And frankly, I think he has the right idea, jsut the wrong plan.

I don't think republicans have feelings about how many minorities and poor people die at any time or any place and this conflict is no different.

When the children of wealthy parents begin dying in large numbers in any conflict is about the time republicans will start to care. Of course, that will never happen because their mommies and daddies will make sure they are in a position (college) to not have to go. Then again, my child WAS in college before the Marines sent him to fight but maybe because we live below the poverty level the same rules don't apply to us. Maybe community college doesn't count. One more dead boy from a poor southern family isn't going to rain on the republican parade because they are soulless and their money protects them from ever having to feel that pain.

If my child dies I will personally kick George Bush's rich stupid *** all the way to hell before handing him over to the devil myself and I invite all those who have lost someone to this charade of a conflict to join me! (Weiner roast to follow ***-kicking, BYOB)

Walla, Walla, Walla...I'm guessing that when you were President you were able to bring a swift and victorious win to every war your country was involved in, yes?

Armchair quarterbacks are bad enough, but armchair Presidents?
