I'm enlisting as an 11bravo. I wanna be a grunt and I know the army is understaffed for them right now. I'd like to go to basic in may do you think I can somehow start basic training in MAY? is there anyway I can influence that?

I am in the army and i renlisted to reclass to MP i am about 1 week out leaving for MP school. I got in a arguement with my wife about 3 weeks ago and mps got called and i got charged with simple assualt.. But i have no court date and nothing else was said to me about it since. Its like it never happened.. I am still set to go to school and i am currently going through clearing and leaving for school. Is that going to affect me. Should i mention it to anyone or should i just keep quite?

I don't feel that all people are called to join the military. I have no problem with that. I was. And I would never ask someone who supports my effort to join if that wasn't their calling. How do the rest of you think you have the right to call them out? "Right" being used in a less literal manner, ie ther than the right of free speech. (which soldiers gained you and have protected)

I mean, would you want us to say: "If you love your free speech, freedom of religion, freedom to assemle, and freedom of press so much why don't you join the military and serve to protect them."

Shouldn´t soldiers sent to war have a minimum age ?

What can you expect from not mature teenagers at war ?

Are they old enough to be responsible of their acts on the field of battle ?

Do they really know what they are doing ?

Shouldn´t the average soldier be over 30 and already a dad to realize the value of human life ?

Aren´t soldiers just young unfortunate people sent over by older people watching them on their screen ?

Join the Army? I will like to join the USAF but my mother oppose it telling me I am a good student and that I dont need to risk my life. I aint sure yet. May be I would like to join the USAF. Can I join the USAF after graduating from high school? Airforce or Army?

My brother inlaw happens to be the youngest and only son to my mother inlaw. But his father who was never married to my mother inlaw has a family of his own where my brother inlaw is the oldest of several sons. So my question is can he still be drafted for war?

the U.S. has the best invasion army on the face of the planet but not the best occupation army.
I think we should just pick up our stuff and leave. if we don't like what we see after wards we just invade again and leave again. Invasion would only take a couple days and look at the American casualties it would save. I think this war was wrong to begin with but congress din't ask me.

What is this , one of your war ships allow a bunch 3rd world Iranians, to capture 15 well armed sailors, and you didn't even try to protect them, The captain of that ship must be coward and a wimp. Was that acceptable to you Brits.
