Ok, the logic is if you don't support the war you don't support the troops, or so I've been told. But what about the generals who stated that we didn't go in with enough troops, that Al Anbar province is a lost cause, that the military is overstretched, etc.?
Are they unpatriotic? Are they undermining the troops? Should they be shot for treason?
If you're in the military, which leaders do you listen to? Commander in chief or the guy in charge of your division?

I want to support our troops in America, and over seas. But just do not have a lot of money to show my support. Sure I can pray, and put the bumper sticker on my car. I want to do more I know joining is the biggest step, just have to finish college first. Maybe write them a letter? Anyone know a site where you can send a letter to our troops, or soldiers? Also what do you usually say? Thanks for any input. Semper Paratus.

Do you send them money?
Have you adopted-a-soldier?
Do you go visit wounded soldiers in the hospital?

OR...

Do you spit in their faces when they come home?
Do you say the reason they are risking their lives is worthless, and therefore the soldiers who sacrificed their lives wasted it?
Do you try to cut funding for the war?
Do you give a deadline to end the war, so the enemy knows EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO?

Liberals claim to support the troops, but they have strange ways of showing it.

I know the US has very powerful resources at it's disposal, however if China came out against the US would the US back down? My first impression is that the Americans would back down due to their fist act of agression.

I am an anti-war democrat in the US, but I have always been for protecting your countrymen against aggression. I think that Britain needs to toughen it's stance against Iran to get the soldiers freed. What do you think?

Is it because they want to declare war on France and redeploy our troops there? France does have better targets and certainly better wine, but shouldn't we stay with the war we have and not be fickle? In the words of coaching legend Darrell Royal: " Shouldn't you dance with the one that brung ya?"

I watched a "report" that said Japan had develpoed Nuclear Weapons and actually tested one off North Korea about the time we bombed Hiroshima. To me this is revisionist bunk, the Japanese not wanting to admit inferiority, BUT, if it is true it lays to rest any argument that we should not have used nukes to end the war. As suicidal as Japan was there is no doubt in my mind they would have used them defending thier homeland.

from the way things are going currently, it is sure that we well fight iran in a war, but what do you think the after affects will be around the world with other anti west countries? I see it as once the west is fighting multiple fronts in the middle east, then N.Korea will see an oppurtunity to invade south Korea, then China will invade Taiwan, and theres no telling what Russia will do. what do you think would happen?
