Is it because they want to declare war on France and redeploy our troops there? France does have better targets and certainly better wine, but shouldn't we stay with the war we have and not be fickle? In the words of coaching legend Darrell Royal: " Shouldn't you dance with the one that brung ya?"

conservative AND liberals want to pull out of Iraq because we see it as another VietNam. And none of us want to see all those young men and women die and get hurt for a war we cannot win.

You must mean Liberals, not conservatives. They are just the type to cut and run from a real conflict and skip off to France where they feel safe.

Conservatives, like any one else, want to be reelected. If they perceive their constituency to be a leaning to the right or left, they will vote accordingly, to keep their jobs.
