Will the Americans use their third nuclear weapon in 62 years? I think they should NOT. I do think some sort of clandestine operation should go ahead and destroy their infrastructure, disabling their ecconomy, preventing nuclear war. What do you think?

Is Iran justified in seizing those marines..?

It seems to me that no matter whether the abducted sailors and marines were in Iraqui or Iranian territory they are not wanted in either place by the countires who actually own the water so is anyone surprised that when the British use intimidation to stop and search shipping they have no right to search, once in a while some people will get sick and tired of turning the other cheek and decide to bully them back.

Reviewing the history of WW1 and WW2, they have such common points:
1. an extreme unbalanced world, the war starter start the war for grabing resource and economical interest.
2. A fascist leads a zealous nation. See the Japanese army's beheavior and performance in WWII , they was zealous killing machine, eager to die in battlefield for their "Japanse Lord". Also the case happens in Hitler's third empire.
3. Extreme nationalism and religiosity was the main role in the people's mind. This is the part of the reason why a fascist can grab the chief leader of nation.Cruz the people need such a guy to rule themselves.
So um, currently it seems something is similar with the period before, the extreme nationalism and religiosity is very popular in the area of the third world, such as Iran and North Korea.
Also the oil is going to be consumed out and if wars really take place, I doubt it'll be concerned to oil. Will we human finally destory ourselves for greed?

The NY Times and Salon.com article recently reported that some women had died in their sleep because they were afraid to go outside their tents alone for water. Some of the female soldiers interviewed said that they carried knives to the latrine if they had to go at night. How widespread or true is all this?

I think we have been patient enough with Iran, they are pursuing nuclear weapons, aiding insurgents in Iraq, helping to kill Americans in Iraq, and threatening to wipe out Isreal. I think it is time we demonstrate we will not tolerate this. the west will not stand by and let them continue this. do you think it is time to rid Iran of their govt and establish a true diplomatic persia, one that can be unified and where the people get the freedom they deserve? and just to think since the weapons and insurgent training is comeing from iran, we may benefit and be able to hunt down the rest of the terrorist leaders that are hideing in Iran, and Iraq will be given a great oppurtunity to fight the insurgents on their own without worrying about iran selling weapons and training the insurgents. I believe it is time, especially after the act they pulled by kidnapping 15 british naval troops, our allies. I believe that is an act of war. what do you think?

I would like to get into something along the lines of Administration or Human Resources in the Guard if I decide to join since these lines of duty relate best to my civilian job working in an office at present. Anybody have any suggestions or comments on these types of MOS's in the National Guard, especially relating to Illinois if possible? Also, where is BCT and AIT normally held for MOS's in these types of positions? Any help would be awesome!

stay a little longer in Iraq, leave soon, or stay until 'the job is done', what do you think they would decide? If anyone of you are soliders, please answer this and give me your reasoning.

I'm asking this because I've seen reports on various channels that have shown some soliders in Iraq being interviewed by American reporters and it looked like 50% think they should leave son & let Iraq deal with their own issues and the other 50% say that they should stay another year or two so they can make sure the Iraqi military is ready to be on their own. I would personally like to have all the soliders vote and see what the results are and have it handed to Congress.

Now for this question specifically, I am going to concentrate on the 15 Brits, allies of the US, and in my words, brother in arms, were kidnapped by Iran. Think about it! Were not stupid enough to go into Iranian waters for no good reason. Second what the hell would a boat coming out of Iran be in Iraqi waters for? Lastly why would a boat coming out of Iranian waters and then invading Iraqi water; be followed by Iranian gun boats? You think something might have been on the boat that they didn't want anyone to find out about? You think it is a coincidence that they were in the same area at the same time the Brit's were. I think we should capture 30 of their boy's and then do a prisoner exchange. Now I am sure a DemoCRAP is going to disagree, and that's fine, I guess; but it is something to expect from them with their policy of appeasement. I would like to hear from you people no matter what you may think.

I spent 3 months in Iraq, and got a medical discharge for lower leg stress fractures and mental illness. The military lost my 201 file, that had X-rays, doctors notes, ect in it, and now the VA says there is no record. Also, i got in some juvenile trouble and had to see a counselor years ago, and i didnt talk to her, so she said i was depressed. Somehow they dug this crap up and say my mental illness was preexisting, but I was never diagnosed with what they said I had before the Army. Why does the VA insist on screwing veterans? I have appealed three times, and even had my Rep write them, with no avail. Also, my DD-214 doesn't list my combat medic badge, how can I fix that?

I'm going to college to be a Registered Nurse. Before you can even get into the nursing program, you have to finish like 8 or 9 prereq classes, then you submit your grades and wait to get accepted into the program. All the people with good grades get accepted first and they don't accept a lot of students at once. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 years to even get into the Associates Degree in Registered Nursing program. I was told that in the Army you can become a nurse in 52 weeks. Should I join the Army or should I stay where I'm at? I think the Army would be better and quicker. I've thought about joining but I'm not sure. Any help I could get would be great.
