You are lucky to get more than one real meal a day if you are out to sea. its really busy so you have to snack a lot. Most of the food is boxed or powdered or canned. Organic food is the fartherest thing from a CO's mind when he is planning on stocking the ship. Each ship has a set budget, so they go as cheap as possible.

When I was in the Navy, back when the ships were made of wood and the men were made of steel, we ate Hardtack and drank cool-aid.
We went into Vietnam and stayed longer than the supplies would last and ended up eating water buffalo. Not bad and you could chew a slice for two weeks. You eat what you can get in the Navy. Several things I have never seen at sea:
1. A grocery store that sells Organically grown foods
2. A post office or a mail buoy
3. Home cooked food
4. Coffee that you not float a steel girder.

I was in the Navy and can guarantee I never saw anything organically grown. In fact, most of the food I saw came boxed and stamped, "Grade D- Not fit for human consumption". I'm not kidding. No joke. All fresh food goes away very quickly and only good ole canned stuff that lasts, even milk is what is left. That's why people bring stashes of peanut butter on board. It's like the currency when you've been out long enough. The Navy doesn't give a rat's butt about the quality of food on a boat unless someone important is coming aboard. People are very low priority on the totem pole for Navy. So organic? Highly doubt it.

I wasn't in the Navy, but I served in the Air Force and I don't recall anything served with the "organically grown" label on it.

The mission of the US Navy includes going in harm's way.
Organically or not. Get used to it.
I had one opportunity to eat organic while stationed overseas.
Indig's served me diced monkey brains in hot yum-yum curry.

They were at one time. During WWII the military had a large problem with providing and transporting food to US forces in the Pacific, so on several captured islands they constructed extremely large hydroponic gardens. Just google "WWII hydroponic."
Nowadays, yeah right.

No, they buy from the lowest bidder and I really doubt the organic stuff is the lowest priced.
