Freeze any and all assets that Iran may have in the UK. Blockade thier ports. Unfortunately, force seems to be the only thing that Iran and other Islamic countries understand. We all have to remember that this is being playing for their Islamic "brothers" to show how 'oppressed" poor Iran is.

If it were me?
I'd give Iran 48 hours to return our troopers or unload HMS Vanguard on 'em. 28 nukes would definitely provide a 'response'. Meanwhile, I'd load up HMS Vengance with her full compliment of 192 warheads. If they haven't returned the troopers, unharmed, and their gear within 7 days of the first nuking, I'd use the full 192 on the rest of Iran. THEN I'd send in the Royal Tank Regiment and the Household Cavalry to go get them from the remains of Iran.
Those sailors and Marines were kidnapped from Iraqi territory and wearing the uniforms of the Royal Navy and Marines - 'trying' them for 'crimes' is a clear violation of the Geneva Conventions and an act of war.
Give them what they want.
Now, what's going to happen here in the real world? Britain will give Iran something nice, then they'll get their troopers back and Iran will keep their gear, just like the last time.

Assemble a task force, travel to the Iranian shores and position ourselves so that we can be seen by the naked eye from the shore. Three aircraft carriers four destroyers and two frigates should do it.
Such a massive presence on their territory will mean one thing and on thing only, WERE NOT JOKING; GIVE US BACK OUR TROOPS.
If the opportunity presents itself snatch 15 of theirs.
Knowing that we have a nuclear facility at our disposal will cause them to think twice about whether to loose face and risk a Sadam style embarassment (as they're not fully ready with their nuclear weapons) or about turn and recognise that their conduct of the matter amounts to an amateur lesson in International mischief making.

Close the Iranian Embassy down in London,Stop all Benefits of Iranians in this country & Deport all those who haven`t a job, don`t look like getting a job, & stop all Flights to Iran from U.K.for starters apart from the ones we are using to send them back to their beloved country.

This is the same trick they used the last time the UN was talking sanctions, (they used Hamas to kidnap Israelis) Again the UN is meeting to discuss Iran, and you see what they did...

Give Iran until Noon today, (East Coast US time that is)to release them, then send a barrage of Tomahawk cruise missiles into downtown Tehran and increase the frequency and strength of the missiles unitl they are set free.

Iran will have to give them back, probably by force. they are doing this to start a war, which they will lose since they and the North Koreans are "Billy no mates". And terrorist don't count.

Suggest that they have WMD's.....
Give then 5 days to return our boys.... or tell them that we will go in and get them....
Or we could Kick all the Iranians out of our counrty..... that would be much better....
